This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure we stopped by Ted Drewes Frozen Custard where I tried their sundae, and it was GOOD! From there we drove further than usual in the series with the destination of St. Claire. St Clair is small town that is big on Route 66. We met up with Tito and Nina who shared their Route 66 love story. We heard a few love storied on the old road. Then Patsy Stark sings a St. Claire song for us.. Many landmarks now house businesses or private residences that are different than what the buildings were originally proposed, and this is true for the Pierce Window and Door as owner Scott Pierce explains. Gold Key Realtors owner Archie Schaeg tells us a similar story. Melody met us outside of precision rebuilders to share her Route 66 story.
