20220318 Cheap Electric Cars? - The Daily Summation
Much has been made of the move of many toward electric transportation.
I'm NOT trying to "put down" folks using those conveyances.
That said, I REALLY DO question whether using such mechanisms, is actually more economical in ANY SENSE.
I also question how mure of an effect they have on ecology as well.

The more you work to make your envonment one that's worth haging out in, the better it'll.

20220316 Young Children - The Daily Summation
You can agree or not, as far as I'M concerned, allowing younger children (pretty much anybody under the age of majority in my view), to dress provocatively is a BAD PLAN.
In fact, it's SO bad to me, that I think there should be laws against such things.
I'm sorry if you thing those "figure hugging" pants (or that likewise overly revealing top) "cute."
There are literally predators out there who would HAPPILY agree you should let kids dress in such ways.
I don't even think it's a good idea for GROWN people to walk around in scanty clothing.

20220315 Social Grouping - The Daily Summation
Do you find that people tend to congregate around you at restaurants (even if there's a BUNCH of other places they might find themselves)?
When you park somewhere (out in the distance from the place you're visiting), do you find yourself often surrounded by other cars?
When you go to the gocery store, do you find the aisle(s) you're trying to get to (and want most to be in), to be occupied by somebody setting up a proverbial tent?
All of these are very often true for me.

20220308 Combating Tyranny - The Daily Summation
You may not agree, but in my mind, there were a BUNCH OF WAYS in which the Founders of the U. S., were pretty much geniuses.
One of the most amazing things they did, was SEVERLY limit power on the national level.
If NO OTHER THING, it means it's harder to implement tyranny on a large scale (and I promise, there are other considerations).
I talk about the idea of reducing the control of government on wider levels, as an effective means to combat tyranny.

Do you honestly believe the police can protect the average citizen, from most criminal activities?
If you do, you can count on our being in disagreement.
I would be willing to bet MOST criminal acts, take LESS THAN TWO MINUTES (even home break ins, are probably no more than half an hour).
I'm not citing statistics when I say that (and I'm open to correction).
I'm NOT trying to "blame" the police for this, by the way.

20220227 Is Death Bad? - The Daily Summation
I'm not sitting here saying every aspect of death is a good thing.
That considered, I still think it's important to ask the question, "Is death bad?"
I know what I THK (that's what you're find in this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Poltics), that said, I know there are others who disagree for various reasons.
What do YOU think about this question?
