GEFNFL 11/10/23 Week 9 Game Review
GEFNFL Week 9, 11-10-23 SuperBowl Game Review
Hey everybody, here is our week 9 SuperBowl game review. We had enough players for a 5 vs 5 game with one extra player for Blue Team to substitute through out the first half of the game until midgame when one switched over to Red Team to fill in for the Red Team player that went out.
The Teams were pretty evenly matched at the start of the game, but in the end Red Team heavily dominated the game. With 8 touchdown passes, 2 pick sixes, and 1 rushing touchdown.
Blue Team did have some pretty good plays as well but couldn't keep up with Red Teams scoring and only put up 5 passing touchdown and 1 rushing touchdown.
Play of the Day
At about midfield Nick Tehan intercepted the ball tipped up in the air by Blue and proceeded to run it back to about the 30-yard line, where he got cut off by the Blue quarterback. Nick solved the problem by pitching back to Zack Kraemer, who finished the final 30 yard to the endzone for the final rushing touchdown of the game.
So over all was still a great game
Final
Red - 11 TDs, 2 Ints, 2 Ints for TDs
Blue - 6 TDs, 2 Ints

GEFNFL 10/27/2023 Week 7 Game Review
GEFNFL Week 7, 10-27-2023 Game Review
Hey everyone, here is our week 7 game review. The Weather was colder this week, with a cloudy overcast sky. With enough players to play a 5 vs 5 game, with some midgame player trades due to injuries.
Red Team started with the ball and was quick to strike and score on their first drive. Tyler Jones was Red Teams starting quarterback, and with a quick pass play followed by a run play that got them the first down and then finding Matt Nowak in the endzone for Reds first touchdown of the game. Blue Team then puts together a good drive of their own, with Nick Tehan as their starting quarterback. With a couple good passing plays and eventually finding Kyle Weideman Deep in the back of the endzone for Blues First touchdown of the game.
On Red Teams next drive, they start to get going but gets picked off by Kyle Weideman (Which got missed on film due to camera issues) Blue Team tries to capitalize on that interception but stalls in the redzone on a fourth-down play. Red Team then makes an effort to drive back down the field, with a couple great run plays by Zach Kraemer but eventually gets stopped by Blue Teams defense on another fourth-down play.
Blue Team then manages to drive back down with a couple quick passing plays by Tony Stornilo and one deep pass to Nick Tehan for their second touchdown. (This play was a little controversial at first because some players thought Tony had stepped over the line but after further review concluded that it was a valid throw)
Red Team then starts to drive back down the field again, only to get stopped once again by Blue Teams defense. This put Blue Team in great position to try to score, and with a couple great passes by Alex Schott and finding Tony Stornilo in the front of the endzone for their Third touchdown. (This was about the time when a couple midgame trades were made when Jeremy Bartlett went out, Kyle Weideman ended up on Red Team. Making for a Blue Tight-end vs Red Wide-receiver matchup)
Red Team makes and effort to get back down the field but gets stopped at midfield again by Blue Teams Defense. Blue Team then makes their attempt at driving down to score, just to get picked off by Zach Kraemer. Red Team then drives down the field and gets stopped once again by Blue Teams defense at Blue Teams 10-yard line. Blue Team then tries to get a drive going but gets picked off again this time by Tyler Jones, who then runs it all the way in for Red Teams Second Touchdown!
Blue Team tries to get another drive going on their next drive but is stopped by Red Teams defense. Then Red Team drives back down the field and punches in another touchdown with rushing touchdown play by Tyler Jones tying up the game at 3-3. Blue Team puts together another good drive that ends up in disaster when it gets picked off once again by Red Teams Matt Nowak.
Red Team then drives back down the field with a couple great passes made by Kyle Weideman who eventually finds Tyler Jones with a quick slant route to the front endzone for Red Teams fourth Touchdown. Blue Team manages to Strike back on their next possession with good drive and touchdown pass from Tony Stornilo to Todd Polczynski. Tying up the game once again.
Red Team with the final drive of the game, drives back down the field with a couple great plays made by Zach Kraemer at quarterback. Managing to find Kyle Weideman in front middle of the endzone for Red Teams fifth and game winning touchdown!

GEFNFL Week 6 10/20/2023 Game Review
GEFNFL Week 6, 10-20-2023 Game Review
Hey everyone, here is our week 6 game review. After getting rained out week 5 and taking a bye week, this turned out to be a great night for football!!
Sun was out when we got started, dropping into 40's by the end of the game. This ended up messing up our camera a little after halftime, so had to switch to using a phone instead. We had enough players to play our more normal sized game with a 6 vs 6 matchup.
Red Team started with the ball. Quickly getting picked off by Blue Teams rookie Jose Fonseca, but then gets picked off again on Blue Teams first offensive play by Nick Tehan playing for Red Team. Setting up Red teams first touchdown drive of the game with a couple passes by Jeremy Bartlett, eventually finding Alex Schott for their first touchdown of the game.
Blue Teams tries to get something going on their next drive but gets sacked on a fourth downplay by Blue Teams defense. This puts Red Team in great field position to score their next Touchdown, with a nice shuffle pass from Nick Tehan to Todd Polczynski.
Blue Team was determined to score on their next drive, with a couple good rushing plays and quick passes made by Paul Van Schaick. Despite the fact that Red Team was having fun masking their defense on this drive. He manages to find Tyler Jones in the middle of the back of the endzone for Blue Teams first touchdown of the game.
On Red Teams next drive, they manage to drive back down and score again with one a couple good rushing a passing play done by rookie Zach Kraemer finding Tony Stornilo for Red Teams third touchdown.
Blue Team gets pinned down at the 2-yard line on the next kick off, and Upon Further Review:
By looking at the video frame by frame, there at 1/30 of a second, there is one frame that shows Zach Kraemer tackled the Blue QB in the endzone. We can’t rearrange the game at this point, but we can give him the stat and Red 1/3 of a point for the safety.
Red Teams defense manages to stop them before reaching the first down marker, giving them great field position to tack on another touchdown drive by Alex Schott, with a couple good passes and finding Jeremy Bartlett for their fourth touchdown!
Blue Teams next drive makes it all the way back down the field but gets stopped on a fourth downplay. There may be a missing drive at this point because we had camera issues and had to switch to using a phone instead. So not exactly sure if there was a touchdown missed during this point in the game, because Red Team manages to get back down to Blue Teams 10-yard line but gets picked off by Omar Orozco in the endzone.
This drive Blue Team makes a couple really good plays and scores their second touchdown of the game with a pass from Kyle Kapple to Omar Orozco. Red Team then starts to drive back down the field and with a long bomb of a pass from Jeremy Bartlett to Nick Tehan Red scores another touchdown!
Blue Team tries to get strike back on their next drive, but Rookie Zach Kraemer picks off the pass at Red’s own 10-yard line. Starting up field for about 3 yards he pitches back to Nick Tehan who snakes up field to about Blue’s 20 yard. As Blue closes in on Nick to prevent the touchdown, Nick pitches back again to Zach who had shadowed him down field. Zach finishes the last 15-20 yard of the 90 yard run back to the endzone for the touchdown. So, the stats on this will be Zach Kraemer with an Interception for a Touchdown.
Blue Team puts together another good drive but stalls once again at about Reds 15-yard line. Red Team then puts together another good drive and putting up another great drive and touchdown pass from Nick Tehan to Todd Polczynski.
Blue Team determined to score on their next drive puts together a solid drive and deep touchdown pass from Rookie Jose Fonseca to Tyler Jones.
At this point we had gone down to 5 vs 5 for Reds last drive of the game. Ending the game with a big touchdown pass from Tony Stornilo to Nick Tehan that got tipped of the defenders' hands and into his!
Final Score
Red - 9 TDs, 2 Ints, 2 Sacks, 1 Safety
Blue - 3 TDs, 2 Ints,
Both Team played well, but Red Team defiantly dominated the game this week. Was another fun night of Friday night Football!

GEFNFL 10/6/2023 Week 4 Game Review
Hey everyone, here is our week 4 game review of 2023!!
GEFNFL Week 4, 10-6-2023 Game Review
This game was a much smaller game then the previous weeks with enough players for a 5 vs 5 matchup. The weather started out partly cloudy, with a little sun at the beginning of the game. Towards the second half of the game the colder fall weather started to set in with some rain, this made for a pretty good game of Friday night football!
Blue Team started off with the ball and had to get use to having a 5 vs 5 game again. After having 3 weeks of 10 vs 10 games going back down to a smaller game like the one, we had this week took some adjustments. This didn't affect Blue Team for long though. With a nice hook and ladder play from Jeremy Bartlett to Tyler Jones who then pitched it back to Eric Oremus for a awesome play! This sets them up for their first touchdown of the game, which was a pass from Jeremy Bartlett to Jon Plesetz.
On Red Teams first drive of the game, they pulled a play right out of Blue Teams play book, and do another awesome hook and ladder play of their own. With a nice pass from Paul Van Schaick to Nick Tehan who then pitches it back to Todd Polczynski for a good first down pick up. Then with a couple more plays and a nice rushing play by Paul, Red Team gets in position to score their first touchdown of the game with a great pass and catch from Paul Van Schaick to Nick Tehan.
Blue Teams starts to drive down the field again on their next drive but gets picked off at Reds 10-yard line by Nick Tehan for Red Teams first interception of the game. Red Team makes a couple nice plays to try to pick up the first down, then Todd Polczynski finds Omar Orozco just across the first down who breaks away and runs it all the way in for their second touchdown.
Blue Team not backing down on their next drive makes a deep pass from Tyler Jones to Jeremy Bartlett putting them at Reds 10-yard line. Setting them up for their next touchdown with a pass from Tyler Jones to Eric Oremus.
Red Teams manages to put together a pretty good drive. With a couple good passes and nice rushing play by Alex Schott to pick up a first down but gets stopped on a fourth downplay at Blue Teams 5-yard line. Blue Team then rallies and makes a couple great plays. One being a nice 35-yard pass from Jon Plesetz to Tyler Jones. Setting them up at Reds 5-yard line, for their third touchdown of the game. With a touchdown pass from Jon Plesetz to Tyler Jones.
Red Team Strikes back really quick on their next drive with an awesome pass from Nick Tehan to Omar Orozco for another 40-yard touchdown run, and unfortunately his last of this game because his leg locked up on him during that run. We all hope he has a speedy recovery, so he can return and play again.
During the next kick off, Blue Team makes an attempt at a pitch play, but was down by contact before Nick Tehan could pick it off for a touchdown. Otherwise that would of been an awesome play. Blue Team does manage to drive down the field on this drive but gets stopped on a fourth down play at Red Teams goal line.
Red Team then puts together a pretty nice drive getting all the way back down to Blue Teams goal line, before getting stopped on another fourth down play. Blue Team then starts to drive back down the field getting to about midfield. They tried calling an audible on the line, but Nick Tehan was ready for it and picks it off for another interception for Red Team. Setting Red Team up right before the first down marker.
Red Team tries to get back down the field with a couple good plays, but then gets picked off by Eric Oremus right at the goal line after first popping it up then catching it off of the deflection. Blue Team then drives all the way back down the field with a couple really good plays, followed by a great pass and catch from Eric Oremus to Tyler Jones for their fourth touchdown of the game.
On this next kick off, Red Team gets pinned at the 10-yard line, but with a nice pass from Todd Polczynski to Nick Tehan who then makes a great 30-yard run getting them out of the hole and picking up the first down. Then a couple passes and a Todd run later sets Red Team up for their fourth touchdown of the game, with a nice pass from Todd Polczynski to Ian Thielecke.
This is around the time the rain finally set in, on Blue Teams next drive they make an awesome endzone to endzone play. With about 20-yard pass from Tyler Jones to Chris Montes De Oca and about a 40-yard run from Chris putting Blue Team back on top with their fifth touchdown of the game.
Red Team tries to get another drive going, but with the rain coming down hard at this point, and the ball soaked. This made it hard for any throws to be made, and gets stopped on a fourth downplay before they could reach the first down marker. Blue Team tries to strike back but struggles with the rain as well, and gets stopped on another fourth downplay at Reds goal line.
Red Team then manages to get a drive going in the rain, with a big rushing play by Nick Tehan. Putting them at Blues 10-yard line, which was then followed by a nice pass from Nick Tehan to Ian Thielecke tying up the game once again.
Blue Team then tries to make it back down the field on the next kick off. Making a couple really good plays along the way, but Red Teams defense holds and manages to stop them on another fourth downplay.
With the game tied up and Red Team with the ball. Red Team has one last chance to win the game, and Ian Thielecke saw the opportunity. After getting snapped the ball he breaks it out to the left side, runs it up the sideline, gets a nice block from Todd Polczynski and he's going all the way for the game winning and final touchdown of the game!!
Final Score
Red - 6 TD's, 2 Ints,
Blue - 5 TD's, 1 Int, 1 Sack
That was another great game of Friday Night Football!!

After pretty much raining all week, the sun finally comes out just in time for game day! We had enough players to start off with 10 vs 10 going down to 9 Vs 9 after one of Blue Teams players injured his quad. Thanks again Carter for helping with the camera crew!!
Blue Team started off with the ball but, was quickly turned over on the first play with a interception by Jon Plesetz for Red Teams first of many picks of the day. This gives Red Team perfect field position to strike and score their first touchdown of the day with a deep pass from Tyler Jones to Parker Marshal.
Blue Team gets pinned down at the about the 2-yard line. They try to get out of the hole but, get pick off for a pick 6 by Omar Orozco for Red Teams second touchdown of the day. On Blue Teams next drive, they get stopped before they could pass midfield, setting Red Team up in good field position again for another attempt at a touchdown. Only this time Blue Team was ready for it and picks it off with an interception by Dave Torres in the endzone. Red Team however wasn't having it, Omar Orozco Picks it off on Blue Teams first downplay for another pick six of the day.
Blue Team may be down by 4 touchdowns at this point but, they are not out of the game yet. On their next drive they manage to drive all the way down and finally score their first touchdown of the day with a nice pass from Anton Covington to Nick Tehan.
Red Team then drives back down the field on their next drive and answers with another awesome touchdown pass from Parker Marshal to Jon Plesetz. Putting the score at 5 to 1. Blue Team makes an attempt at driving back down the field only to get stopped once again by Red Teams defense in the redzone.
Red Team then drives back down the field only to be stopped by Blue Teams defense on another fourth downplay in the redzone. Blue Team then manages to make it back down the field, only to get picked off once again by Jon Plesetz at the goal line. Then on Red Teams very next play Anton Covington picks it off for another Blue Team interception. Setting up Blue Team in good field position to drive down for their second touchdown of the day, with a nice short pass from Dave Torres to Nick Tehan.
On Red Teams next drive, they are pinned down at about the 10-yard line and Blue Teams defense manages to hold them there. Putting them in good field position to try to score again but, Red Teams defense wasn't having any of it and then gets picked off once again by Omar Orozco. Blue Teams defense holds strong and manages to stop Red Team on fourth down where the interception took place.
Blue Team tries again to get another touchdown drive going but, gets picked off again by Jeremy Bartlett. Red Team then tries to get another drive of their own going only to get picked off by Todd Polczynski. Setting up Blue Team in good position for their third touchdown drive of the game with a nice driving pass from Nick Tehan to Dave Torres. Making the score 5 to 3 at this point, Blue Team might be down, but they aren't out of the game yet.
Red Team tries to speed up the speed things up and go no huddle on this drive. They manage to drive down the field getting close to scoring only to get stopped by Blue Teams defense once again. Blue Team then drives back down the field but, gets stopped on another fourth downplay.
Red Team then makes another valiant effort to drive back down the field getting close to scoring but, this time Nick Tehan jumps the ball at the goal line picking it off for a 55-yard pick six run for a touchdown. Possibly the play of the day, because this was the play that put the score at 5 to 4. Blue Team still has a chance to tie up this game.
Red Team then makes another impressive attempt to drive back down the field only to get pick off by Nick Tehan once again at the goal line. Setting up Blue Team for their last and final drive of the game, taking them all the way down for a touchdown pass from Anton Covington to Todd Polczynski to end and tie up the game.

GEFNFL 9/22/2023 Week 2 Game Review
Hey everyone, welcome to week 2 of the 2023 season of the GEFNFL!!
GEFNFL Week 2, 9-22-2023 Game Review
Was another great day for a Friday night game of football, sun was out with a bit of an overcast, and the temperature in the mid 70s. Team sizes were stacked once again with enough players for a 9 vs 9 game, as well as some additional help with the camera crew! Thanks Carter!
Red Team started off with the ball but, was quickly turned over on the first play. The ball was thrown from Tyler Jones to Paul Van Schaick, then deflected and landed in Dave Torres's hands for the first interception of the game. Setting Blue Team up for their first touchdown of the game with a pass from Dave Torres to Nick Tehan.
Red Team manages to drive back down the field, unfortunately the fourth down pass from Jose Chovez to Tyler Jones was out of bounds. So, a turnover on downs. Blue Team went with a no huddle offense to try to catch red off guard and get out of the redzone but, wasn't expecting rookie Tony Storniolo to jump the ball and run it in for a pick six! Scoring Red Team, the only touchdown they got all game.
At this point in the game, it became the battle of the defenses. Blue Team drives back down the field, just to get picked off by Paul Van Schaick for Red Team at the goal line. Red Team then managed to get back to midfield before getting picked off by Matt Nowak for Blue Team. Blue Team almost makes it back down for a touchdown but got sacked in the redzone on a fourth downplay by Tyler Jones. Setting Red Team up for another drive attempt. Red Team drives back down the field, but Blue Teams defense manages to stop them once again on a fourth downplay.
Blue Team tries to throw a hail marry play to get out of the hole, only to get pick off once again by Red Teams defense with an interception by Jose Chovez. Red Team then tries once again to make it back down the field only to get picked off for another pick for Red Teams defense by Nick Tehan. Blue Team started to drive back down the field and then getting picked off once again, by Red Teams defense with a pick by Rookie Alec Lenczner. At this point we started joking about the fact that maybe the team with the most interceptions wins.
Red Team makes another attempt at driving back down the field, managing to make it into the redzone only to get pick off once again by Omar Orozco giving Blue Team another interception. Red Team manages to stop them once again though before they could pass midfield. Red Team makes another attempt to get a touchdown but, gets picked off once again by Blue Teams Defense with a pick by Sean Tehan. Blue Team attempts to get out of the hole again, only to get picked off by Jeremy Bertlett for another Red Team interception. Setting Red Team up again in good field position to try another attempt at a touchdown pass, only to get picked off by Anton Covington for another Blue interception.
Blue Team was finally able to put together an amazing drive making it back down field. There was an amazing first attempt at a touchdown from Dave Torres to Anton Covington but was out of bounds before having full control of the ball. This didn't faze Blue Team thought coming back on the next play with a touchdown pass from Dave Torres to Matt Nowak for a Blue Team Touchdown.
Red Team tries to drive back down the field only to get pick off again by Anton Covington for another Blue interception. On the very next play thought Todd Polczynski jump Blue Teams play and makes an amazing one-handed interception for Red Team, which was then followed up by another interception by Anton Covington for Blue Team. Setting Blue Team up for their third touchdown drive of the game, with a pass from Nick Tehan to Dave Torres.
Red Team makes another attempt to drive back down the field but gets stopped on another fourth down stop in the redzone. Blue Team manages to make it out of the hole for another touchdown with an impressive scramble deep pass from Anton Covington to Omar Orozco. Red Team makes yet another attempt to make it down the field, still unable to finish the drive and score a touchdown.
Omar Orozco then Airs out a 50-yard pass setting up Blue Team for their next touchdown, Red Team manages to sack him 3 times before he still manages to make a fourth down touchdown pass to Nick Tehan. Red Tries one last time to put a drive together only to get stopped once again before they could reach midfield. Setting up Blue Team for their final drive of the game with an amazing pitch back from Sean Tehan to Nick Tehan and then thrown to Eric Oremus scoring them their sixth and final touchdown of the game.
Final Score
Blue - 6 TDs, 8 Ints,
Red - 1 TD, 6 Ints, 5 Sacks
Red Team had a lot of great drives just couldn't finish them. Overall, it was still another great game.

Red Team then answers that touchdown with another touchdown pass of their own, a hail marry pass from Omar Orozco to Kyle Kapple!
Blue team drives back down the field, getting stopped at about the 1-yard line, and red team manages to put up another touchdown pass. (which we didn't have film of) We do believe it was a pass from Chris Montes De Oca to either Kyle Kapple or Jose Chavez though.
Blue team puts together another good drive only to end up being stop in the redzone on a fourth downplay. At this point in the game there was a lot of back and forth between the two teams. Blue Team managing to stop Red Team on another fourth down stop, followed by Red team tring to drive down but getting pick off once again by Anton Covington. Red Team then manages to stop Blue Team on another fourth down stop, then drove down the field only to get pick off again by Anton Covington in the endzone.

GEFNFL Week 6 Recap 10/21/2022
Hey everybody, Welcome back to another GEFNFL Game Summary
WEEK 6 – Game Summary, 10/21/2022 Recap
A very calm evening starting off in the mild 60’s and slowly cooling to the low 40s by the final whistle. Unsuccessfully trying to get a final score extended the ending game time to about 9:15 PM for about a full 3 hour game. No shortage of players this week, as we started off with a 9 on 9 game, going to a 10 on 10 game once a everyone got there. Fan count was rookie Ian Thielecke’s son, 3 neighborhood kid, a pair of dog walkers, with so many player on the field, we also had extra staff Dave Dubberstein and Paul Van Schaick there for game commentary.
The camera crew suffered a camera equipment failure because the main camera did not have its memory chip. This forced us to use Alex’s body cam for all the game. It does not have any kind of zoom feature, but with so many player on the field it may have worked out better.
With Teams pretty evenly matched, Red Team was the first to drive down and score a touchdown with a nice redzone pass from Torres to Kappel. Blue Teams answers that score with a touchdown drive of their own, with a pass from Oremus at the first down marker to Tehan who then runs it in for the touchdown weaving his way through Reds defense.
This is where the battle between the two defense began to heat up. The next few drives by both teams end on fourth down stops, with one interception by the rookie Thielecke on Blue Team. Red Team prevented Blue team from capitalizing off of that interception, with redzone fourth down stop. Then put together a nice drive pick up whatever yardage they could get just to be stop once again at midfield by Blue Team, who then got stop again at in the redzone by Red Teams defense.
Red Team was finally able to put together an awesome drive down the field with their next drive, making it to midfield followed by an amazing 30-yard pass from White to Chavez scoring Red Team their second touchdown of the game. Then there was another back and forth battle between the defenses until finally Blue Team made a big play, and that was about a 50-yard pass from Weideman to Barta, which set them up for a nice redzone pass from Weideman to Bartlett for Blues second Touchdown of the game tying the game up.
Red Team drives back down on their next drive getting stop by Blue Team in the redzone, then Red Team prevents Blue Team from getting out of the hole stopping them at the 1-yard line. Setting up Red Team for a perfectly executed block and push by Schott for Orozco to quarterback sneak to the right scoring Red Team their third and final touchdown of the game.
For the last hour of the game it was a never ending battle of the defense with so many interceptions for both teams bring us into double, triple overtime. Eventually instead of calling for last touchdown we just called for to give Blue Team their final drive, which ended up being pick off by Orozco on Red Team ending the game.
With a 10 verse 10 game, that was a great game
Final Score
Red - 3 TDs, 9 Ints, 1 Sack
Blue - 2 TDs, 5 Ints

Before the camera crew was ready, Blue got the kick off and drove down the field just get picked off by Montes De Oca at about the 1 yard line. Who chose to forfeit his stat to make the stop they needed, only to end up being stopped by Red on another forth down play.
Red manages to pick up a first down on the next drive and just start lobbing deep passes to try and get the touchdown from midfield only to be stop on another forth down knockdown play in the endzone by Vanschnaick. Red answers that touchdown with a nice drive of thier own and a touchdown pass from Montes De Oca to Orozco. After a nice kick off return by Tahen. Blue tried to answer that touchdown, only to get pick off again by Orozco. Red put together another drive that ended on a forth down stop by blue. GEFNFL Week 2 Recap 9/23/2022
Hey everybody, welcome back to another recap of our GEFNFL game.
GEFNFL Week 2 9/23/2022 Recap
Game 2
We started off this nice fall overcast evening with enough players to play 9 verse 9 for about the first half of the game. After that some players had to leave so we went down to 8 verse 8.
Red team and blue team started out pretty evenly match with Red scoring the first touchdown to one of the new rookie players to our league Weideman, and in our league once you get a touchdown, you're no longer a rookie. Blue answered that score on their next drive with an amazing throw by Jones to Chaves from behind the first down marker, which for our sized field is equivalent to a 50-yard throw!!
From that point the game was a battle of the defenses with Red getting 3 interceptions and 3 fourth down stops, and Blue getting 5 interceptions and 1 fourth down stop, before Red finally drives down for their 2nd touchdown from Tehan to Oremus. Red continued to dominate the field after that drive with a few more interceptions that lead to 2 more touchdowns!!
Blue team wasn't about to give up yet, putting together a solid drive by Jones to get their 2nd touchdown From Jones to Kappel despite getting sacked once. Blue's defense rallies and makes another 4th down stop, followed by an amazing redzone touchdown pass by Chaves to Jones.
After the next kick off Blue had Red pinned at the one-yard line, we had just called last score, so it was time to dial it up and put the pressure on. Schott and Kappel made a powerful blitz and got a safety. We didn't want to end the game that way so blue chose to decline the play and let red do over the down so we could end the game with a touchdown.
That drive Blue managed to get another interception, followed by another interception by Red. Blue managed to make a critical 4th down stop for their final drive of the game. Blue was pinned at their 5-yard marker but an amazing throw from Kappel to Schott. Who caught the ball with his face got them the first down they needed to keep their final drive alive. They drove down the field with 1 close call and a nice run up the sideline by Kappel. Finally finding Montes De Oca in the endzone for the final touchdown tying the game up.
Final Score
Red - 4
Blue - 4
