2nd set of provided scientific evidence of the spike protein involved in the promoting the development of abnormal blood clots. The location of spike protein interaction with fibrin components of clots has been mapped by the authors and that it is the spike protein itself that promotes the high inflammatory state. First direct evidence showing that the spike protein can contribute to the formation of abnormal clots that are amyloid in nature. Luckily, we do have some good news to present in this context as well, in that spike protein alone does not seem to be as damaging in clot formation as clots observed from COVID-19 patients.
