Kernow Damo

The US appears to be violating Articles of the UN Charter by consistently using it's veto to block a ceasefire. Here's why. Right, so last night, following the triggering of Article 99 by Secretary General of the UN Antonio Guterres, the UN Security Council met once more to pass a resolution for a ceasefire under the terms of the UN Charter, which is effectively an international treaty, and therefore all member starts, Israel included, would have to abide by that and the killing would cease in Gaza, the slaughter would stop. As we have seen in previous attempts to pass a resolution here though, the United States used it’s permanent council member status to veto it, meaning the slaughter continues. The resolution fell, despite 13 of the 15 Security Council member states backing it, which is just so twisted, as is the fact the UK chose once again, to sit on the fence and get splinters, abstaining on the matter of ending the slaughter of thousands of innocent men, women and children for the sake of taking out a few Hamas operatives, a price Israel consider worth paying but the rest of the world do not, except it seems for the US, so what can be done about them? Well actually, it seems the UN might have mechanisms in place to do just that. If Joe Biden’s administration won’t vote to end the killing, then they need removing from the Security Council, but how? Right, so it was as predictable as it was soul destroying to see, as that US Security Council representative raised his hand into the air and an immediate ceasefire failed once again. With Article 99 having been triggered, this onus, the pressure was on the Security Council to reach a resolution on this to end the killing in Gaza, but nothing really changed. This was all about stopping the killing in Gaza, October 7th seems so long ago now, the fatalities that happened in Israel that sparked all of this, now a distant memory due to the overwhelmingly disproportionate response from Israel in Gaza, which is amounting to ethnic cleansing at this point and when you consider so many eyewitnesses to the Israel attack on the Nova Music Festival and the southern kibbutzes claim many of the deaths that occurred there were at Israeli hands, so called Hannibal Directives, it makes what they are doing in Gaza all the more perverse when it seems they had a hand in the killing of their own people, justifying what they are still doing now. The US again opposed this resolution, because, and do remember this is all about what is happening in Gaza right now, the pressure of Article 99 being triggered weighing on them to do their job, they opposed it, because just as before, there was no criticism of Hamas in it. Whatever you think of Hamas and what they did and do condemn that, an occupied state as Gaza is, resisting occupation is their right under international law and the US rightfully I feel is now at the point where it is complicit in war crimes by consistently blocking a ceasefire. The DWP has been run into the ground so badly by the Tories a shock dossier by the PCS union shows it's all verging on collapse. Right, so if the benefits system were to collapse in the near future where would that leave you? Well the Department for Work and Pensions might be in a great deal more trouble than we ever thought. We know there are backlogs, we know they’ve had years of reforms which have proven difficult to the point of impossible to implement. They have been driven towards not helping people into work, but forcing them to do so anyway if they can, the threat of absolute poverty dangling over the head of every person who might be out of work, might be ling term sick or disabled and if anything they’ve in no small part, contributed to the damage to peoples health so many of their victims frankly suffer from. But staff at the DWP, their own staff, have now blown the whistle on just how big a crisis the department and the benefits system itself faces. A devastating dossier of a failing organisation in a state of crisis. Right, so what’s all this about then Damo, I’ve heard nothing at all anywhere about this, where has this come from? Well, unless it’s the government cracking down on people the government are calling shirkers because they aren’t workers, the disabled, long term sick, their carers, people who have been out of work for a multitude of reasons and indeed a great many people who are in work, but for whom work doesn’t actually pay. Of course where the DWP is concerned you need to include pensioners too. Unless it is attacks on people like this, red meat for the frothing gammon class that sells headlines, they don’t care. Thankfully alternative media is there and on all things DWP, if you aren’t tuned in to Disability News Service, then you won’t be hearing about this, or a great many other things. They are frankly disgusted that this story is not being picked up further, so I’m more than happy as a carer myself to draw attention to this because so many low income families won’t have any idea of what is brewing in the Department for Work and Pensions. The dossier has been put together by the Public and Commercial Services Union, the PCS, who’s members include staff at the DWP and this is where the crux of the problem lies; the DWP are so short-staffed now, that they’re barely able to keep things going. The PCS Union itself has accused DWP of “deliberate neglect”, after its members said they believed benefit claimants in vulnerable situations were “falling through the gaps” in the system. One manager describing staff facing “completely overwhelming” workloads. Another, a DWP staff member who works in counter-fraud, compliance and debt, said: “We are also experiencing more threats of suicide by claimants, in some cases already attempted, sometimes successfully.” The report, all 64 pages of it, that the mass media are ignoring, gives example after example of testimony from DWP employees, that the absolute bare minimum is getting done and people are falling through the gaps. As our politicians continue to fail us in opposing Israel's genocide, the British public are taking it into their own hands! Right, so there’s nothing quite like the power of the Great British public when they find a cause to rally around, get their heads together and take a stand. It might take us a while sometimes, but when we get sufficiently fed up at something or somebody, sufficiently horrified and upset and angered, then we turn up, turn out and can effect change that our elected representatives fail to do, or fail to listen to. So many of us have been utterly sickened to be in a country, complicit where so much of the weaponry, and armaments and equipment being used by Israel in Gaza, against a mostly civilian population, half of whom are under 18. So get organised people have. Trade Unionists, but not exclusively so, they’ve been joined by other members of the public too, over 1000 of them, have today blockaded 4 factories across the country supplying the IDF in Israel and you just love to see it. Right, so 4 factories shut down by ordinary working class people across the country in a show of solidarity with Palestine, for Palestine and a swipe at our complicit government and the occupiers themselves of the Israeli government and the Israeli Defence Force, the IDF. All of this has been organised by the group Workers for a Free Palestine, a grassroots network of like-minded people, trade unionists, activists, workers disgusted by the inaction of our government to hold Israel to account for the atrocities it is committing so, has instead, opted to do itself. Everything is peaceful, that must be mentioned, but what they do is organise mass pickets to shut down weapons factories and also help people organise within their workplaces in support of a free Palestine. Up until now they shut down an Elbit Systems factory in Kent and later also in Kent did likewise to a BAE Systems site, supplying parts for F-35 jets that Israel is using to bomb Gaza, but today is their biggest action to date, shutting down 4 factories across the country, showing not only that people up and down the country are on the same page as them, but that they are now affecting the Israeli war machine in the UK everywhere. Today they reckon they’ve got over 1000 people picketing 4 sites: The Samlesbury Aerodrome in Preston, Lancashire, where F-35 fuselages are made by BAE systems, Eaton Mission Systems at Wimborne in Dorset has had all three of its entrances blocked, again another site that makes parts for F-35’s, the BAE Govan site in Glasgow has been shut down by Glasgow residents, which tickles me no end, that this one was organised by ordinary people, where again F-35 parts are produced, but also parts for Mk38 Mod 2 machine gun systems and lastly in Brighton, the Brighton and Hove Action for Palestine Group have shut down the L3 Harris Release and Integrated Solutions Ltd factory, which supplies parts for F-35’s and also F16’s used by the IDF in their attacks on Gaza. F-35’s are, according to their manufacturer’s Lockheed Martin, the most lethal fighter aircraft in the world. Jacob Rees Mogg is winding up the Starmer fanbase by saying he would make a good Tory, but only because they know he's right! Right, so nothing quite screams a persons Tory credentials like a Tory saying how great a Tory somebody would be, but that is exactly what the haunted pencil himself Jacob Rees Mogg has said of Keir Starmer. He’s gone on record as saying that Keir Starmer would be welcomed by the Conservative Party with open arms. Well this is what you get when you write in the papers praising Thatcher Keith, because it isn’t just fed up, disgusted mouthpieces like me, or disillusioned former Labour voters, or purged Labour members calling you a Tory now sunshine, actual Tories are now saying you’re a Tory boy! This one will be awkward for the Tory enabler bleating Starmeroid drones to explain away, but no doubt they’ll try. Right, so Keir Starmer has got the blessing of Jacob Rees-Mogg to jump ship to his natural home any time he wants to it would seem, as that article Starmer wrote the other day for the Sunday Torygraph, where he extolled the virtues of Thatcher has made the Moggster into Keith’s latest fan. Mogg reckons Starmer’s article saying he sounded like a Conservative minister launching a leadership bid and well I’d wish Starmer all the very best of luck with that, he truly would be a great leader of the Tory Party, the problem is it makes him a really s**t Labour leader as a consequence. The article Starmer wrote was called ‘voters have been betrayed on Brexit and immigration’ and Mogg loved it! He said it sounded like something written by an ardent Eurosceptic or a Trussite. Well Starmer has all the moral fibre, integrity and backbone of a limp lettuce, so I can see the similarity to Truss there, but we should remember that if Starmer is now writing like a Eurosceptic to the point Mogg is having a fangirl moment over it, he was once the Shadow Brexit Secretary who lit a fuse under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership by calling for remain to be an option in a second referendum. Does this man actually believe in anything, or is he just the most self serving populist weathervane in politics, that he can flip from second referendum and remain to having Jacob Rees Mogg cheering on his Euroscepticism? On the matter of immigration it’s the same, Starmer once said he would make the moral case for immigration and now he’s joining in with the Tories saying its too high. Mogg got very excited about this, saying what Starmer said was ‘vintage Farage’ and as a Tory member, he would like to extend a welcome to the leader of the opposition with open arms. It does beg the question on whether all this talk of Farage returning to the Tory Party and perhaps leading them is really what the talk of the town is in Tory circles, because now they’ve another aspiring Tory leader, just currently leading the wrong party. Make it make sense folks! Robert Jenrick hasn't quit because of Rwanda, his announcement made just 24 hours earlier, so what then? Right, so Robert Jenrick has gone, Honest Bob as I like to call him, who can forget him trying to help a billionaire former newspaper proprietor and mucky mags magnate from trying to avoid millions in property tax when he was in charge of housing and lying through his teeth about it? Didn’t preclude him from being handed the immigration brief later on did it, where he’s become best known for wanting to scare the living daylights out of asylum seeker children by ensuring their were no friendly faces on the walls to greet them, ensuring scared kiddies stayed as scared as possible like, it would serve as a deterrent. This guy has kids, God know what it must be like to have him as your dad. It was a performative, foul example of an unnecessarily mean person and the reason he’s quit now, is basically because Rishi Sunak, a man set on binning human rights, isn’t mean enough for him, but is that the whole story because I reckon there’s more to it. Right so Robert Jenrick has quit government, quit the immigration brief because the Tory immigration plans, which still include deporting people to Rwanda are not mean enough for him anymore. A guy who for ages has been best remembered for helping a rich man dodge his dues over a housing development had one of those hold my beer moments when it came to picking on children and will instead be remembered best for being they guy who demanded cartoon murals in detention centres be painted over to make them as scary and uninviting as possible. This needlessly cruel, pointless little man will not be missed one iota. This of course came hot on the heels of Suella Braverman reading out a resignation speech in the Commons, which was basically just an attack on Sunak and made all the more farcical because he sacked her, she didn’t resign at all, just one more example of Cruella making things all about her, but Jenrick’s resignation followed and there are more noises coming from the Braverman and Jenrick wing of the Tory Party making it sound like something is afoot and actually is nothing to do with changes in immigration policy. Those changes, basically involve doing what Braverman and Jenrick wanted all along, or so they said, so they gave the impression of, Jenrick came out selling this plan and then 24 hours later resigns over it and that was Sunak basically saying he’s prepared to break international law to deport people to Rwanda. Was this not what they wanted? Was this not what Suella was dreaming of? Having been defeated by the Supreme Court finally on the legality of those deportation flights, Sunak simply said we’ll legislate to make Rwanda a safe country regardless of the Supreme Court ruling that it isn’t. Keir Starmer is whipping Labour Lords to abstain on workers rights once again leaving just the Green Party standing by them. Right, so tonight Green Party peer Natalie Bennett is bringing yet another fatal motion in the Lords to kill off Tory anti-strike legislation that will force public sector workers to work against their will, to maintain so-called safe service levels. In other words they’ll force people to work to maintain a level of service that minimises disruption, the very point of taking strike action. It is a protected human right, to be able to withdraw your labour, to be free of slavery in effect, because being forced to work is tantamount to that, therefore what they are doing here is almost certainly illegal and would never stand up in court if passed, but pass through the Lords it may well do, because whilst the Green Party once more are the ones leading thew fight against the Tories, are the architects of the second fatal motion we’ve seen just this year, previously it was over the public order bill and our rights to protest and prior to that we hadn’t seen one since 2016 because they are so rare, yet so rancid are the Tories that they now face another for forcing people to work against their will and worse, both Sir Keir Starmer and Sir Ed Davey, leaders of Labour and the Lib Dems respectively have ordered their peers to abstain on this. Labour the party of workers now refusing to stand up for you as you get forced to work or face the sack. How far they have fallen. Right, so once more it is one of the just two Green peers in the House of Lords who are standing up for decency, the basics like our human rights, as every other party seems intent on stripping us of them, or standing by as casual observers, but when Labour are once again being told to abstain over this by what passes for their leader, people need to look up and take notice that this is not a party on your side. This is all down to the Tories anti-strike legislation, their Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Bill and it is really bad news. Not only does this limit the scope of workers in their rights to withdraw their labour, in order to basically completely undermine the strike action entirely, since disruption is the whole point, it’s a last resort, but as we’ve seen with the Tories repeatedly, they don’t listen and don’t negotiate, they ignore, or they bully, or they impose their will and this is what they are doing again. If this passes, you going on strike in violation of minimum service levels, could result in you being sacked. Not only that, but the Trade Union representing you could be in significant bother as well, since if it does not enforce the terms of the Minimum Service Levels Bill, they could find themselves liable for damages, up to £1m. That has the potential to bankrupt some of our smaller representative workers bodies, but also turns those who are supposed to be on our side, into enforcement agents for the government and would you be too keen to remain a member of a union doing that? Right, so in a video the other day I spoke of Israel now striking central and southern Gaza and how they had been dropping flyers into settlements in South Eastern Gaza telling them to evacuate, showing that nowhere is safe in Gaza, evacuating from the north wasn’t where Israel wanted to leave things, they were it would appear driving people into the south-west now and then lo and behold the Israeli ambassador to the UK, a far right Zionist enthusiast called Tzipi Hotovely, dropped mention that there was a safe haven there for the 2 million Gazan inhabitants to move to, called Mowasi, more correctly called al-Mowasi, if Hotovely knew anything she was talking about she could at least get the name right, but she doesn’t nor does she care, but in a rather embarrassing moment for her on Sky News when she was spouting off this drivel, they punched up images of Mowasi as she was talking, and it may as well be a snapshot of the local tip, because it’s nothing more than a barren wasteland, strewn with rubbish, a fraction of the size of the Gaza strip itself, already overcrowded. Mowasi might be one option, but it isn’t the option for Israel here. Hotovely was floundering for an excuse to justify the ethnic cleansing going on and without doubt made clear that the Gazan people will not have their land back whether Hamas is taken out or no. If they are already sizing up alternative places to live, that should be obvious to everyone by now. Right so let’s talk a bit about Tzipi Hotovely first because we do seem to have a track record for having the most ardent, committed Zionists here in the UK as Israel’s representatives, she having replaced the equally odious Mark Regev, when he left to become Netanyahu’s official spokesman. She isn’t just a hardline Zionist, she’s ultra hardline and as the UK ambassador, boy do our media love to platform her, despite there clearly being no sense of impartiality in them doing so and by her own track record is not somebody who should be accorded such platforms anyway, that she’s the UK ambassador for Israel is a gross insult to our intelligence, becoming more obvious the more eyes are opened, but aster having spent 12 years in Israeli government before that, so much of the problems we’re seeing for Palestinians the abuse, the deaths and destruction in recent years at the hands of a government she was once a part of. This is a woman who in 2017 attacked UNESCO, for naming the Old City of Hebron in the West Bank a World Heritage Site. She stood up in the Knesset, held up a copy of the Old Testament and a copy of a book called The History of the Palestinian People, an absolute insult to Palestinians, since it is a book of empty pages implying they have no history and telling the UN they should read both books, because clearly Palestinians have no heritage sites. Keir Starmer's Resolution Foundation Speech showed austerity will be back under Labour and he himself is an absolute Scrooge. Right, so yesterday it was another speech by Keir Starmer, they really should come with a warning label, like may cause drowsiness, or if listening to Tories makes you irrationally lash out, do not tune in, that sort of thing. This was a speech that acknowledged the damage the Tories had done, that identified the problems, but offered no new solutions, just a return to old ones, believing we can starve the economy of investment in order to make it grow. This was less of a speech from the heir to Blair, this speech may as well have been written by 2010 David Cameron and George Osborne, because it is their plan, that didn’t work, that messed up and as if to underline the fact he won’t spend if he can avoid it, told a story about his own sister that makes him sound like the most tight fisted miser going, that at this time of year made him sound like a modern day Ebenezer Scrooge. There’s no three ghosts coming to visit him to offer us any salvation should he reach power, but we can think twice about where our votes are going if he’s set on making this country even worse through his rampant economic illiteracy. Right, so Labour’s economic vision for the country, Starmer was giving another speech so prop open your eyeballs with cocktail sticks, it’ll be another dry one, the man who has all the charisma and appeal of a plasterboard offcut and no, I’m not being mean, it’s not an insult if it’s an accurate description. He turned up at the Resolution Foundation, a think tank that was set up, according to it’s stated aim, in order to improve the standard of living of low to middle class incomes. A great pity they hosted a man making a speech where none of that was his intention whatsoever. He started by pointing out the failings of the Tories, good place to start, you’d imagine, using a graph by his own hosts showing their findings following the Autumn Statement, which showed this parliament is on track to be the first in modern history to show living standards have fallen. To be honest, you’d imagine they haven’t looked hard enough at that statistic then, because lives have been hell on Earth since 2010 for those on the lowest incomes certainly, I suppose it is only now middle incomes are getting squeezed too, that it is showing up in this particular groups findings, the point being we’re all worse off yes, very good Keith, you’ve identified the problem. So what are you going to do about it then? Well we had to wait for a bit, Starmer had to go back to the 1970s and use his own upbringing as an example of knowing what a cost of living crisis feels like. The Tories new minimum wage for migrants to be able to bring their families here has revealed our own wages must be too low too! Right, so the Tories in their desperation to keep their bash migrants culture war going have let slipped an uncomfortable truth, which is by setting a figure of how much they will require people to be earning should they wish to come here from abroad to live and bring their families with them, they’ve also told people here in the UK what exactly you actually need to be earning here in order to get by and have a family yourself and by doing that, has shown which jobs and professions don’t actually pay enough to live on and do that. The jobs that don’t actually make work pay. The figure you’ll be interested to know, is £38,700. If you as a couple aren’t making that, then you basically cannot afford to have a family without state help, which defeats the entire premise of making work pay. Not only is this designed to put off people from abroad coming here, it will also impact those already here, already struggling, from having families themselves. This is financial eugenics, both on migrants and the poor, the two demographics the Tories hate the most. Right so, who dreamt this wonderful idea up then, well that’ll be Stockton’s biggest fan and the horribly misnamed Home Secretary James Cleverly, who reckons by raising what is called the acceptable minimum wage for foreign workers to bring their families with them to £38K, he’ll reduce migration by 300,000. So how many of you are earning that much then? If this is the case, then shouldn’t we all be able to be earning that much and if not why not? Why this figure? You can only rationalise it by saying to yourself, the government hate migrants, they don’t want to supplement their incomes if they come here, so if they want their families to come with them, this is how much they must earn for the state to not need to support them and if they can’t get a high enough job, they can’t come here OR, they can’t bring their family with them. Let’s just consider a moment salaries here. Average median salary for a worker in the UK is £29,000, so a couple on that, would in theory have no issues having a family, but as we all know, that median salary varies massively across the country and is also dragged upwards as an average by appallingly high wages, few people earn anything like £29K, that in reality is above average, so that ought to put in perspective to an extent how preposterously high Cleverly’s proposed acceptable minimum wage is, because that’s a single wage requirement. Therefore any job paying less than £38K is a job no longer available to foreign workers with families, unless they deliberately separate themselves and the worker comes here alone. What sort of jobs might these include then? Keir Starmer's sickening praise of Margaret Thatcher is a show that the mask is off and the closet Tory has emerged. Right, so Keir Starmer has come out praising Thatcher has he? Well what took you so long! You’re Tony Blair on steroids aren’t you! That’s what you called yourself isn’t it? Blair said he saw it as his duty to carry on where she left off, Thatcher herself said when asked what her greatest success was, her greatest achievement, she said Tony Blair, so if this sudden declaration of fondness on his part for the architect of the last 44 years of politics has taken you by surprise, it really ought not to have done. I dare say few will have been surprised by this, but clearly what it does mean is that he must feel he is absolutely certain he is on course for victory come the next general election, on course for a majority, to be bold enough to just say to the country, to admit it, that he’s the real Thatcherite now, with the Tories having gone too far right, but it should be telling anyone that wants the Tories out because they want change, that Labour absolutely isn’t that, with Starmer sending message after message out if you care to listen, that things absolutely will not change from the last 44 years of how this country has been wrecked, the wealth divide getting ever greater, the privatised services ruined, because under Starmer, by his own admission, and echoing the words of Theresa May, nothing will change under him and it doesn’t make anyone saying so a Tory enabler. Starmer is a Tory, if you’re going to vote for him, look in the mirror when you tell someone that. Right, so Keir Starmer has admitted not so much to being the heir to Blair, but what that really means is the next generation of Thatcherite Labour leader after him, saying that Thatcher was worthy of praise because of the meaningful change that she enacted. Meaningful for who? I’ve spoken of my earliest memories before, I was born during the Winter of Discontent near the end of 1978, All of my earliest years therefore, early memories, were growing up under Thatcher and seeing the effect of her meaningful change. It always stumps me seeing how people my age became Tories or younger, even having grown up in similar times, but of course, they predominantly didn’t come from a working class background. My dad the factory foreman, who like so many under Thatcher, lost his job because mass unemployment should be one of the most prevalent things attributed to Thatcher’s rule. My mother was a stay at home mum, my earliest memory, is switching the TV off and hiding behind the sofa, as the milkman had come for his money and we didn’t have it. I can remember doing that on multiple occasions. I can remember my mother subsisting on bread and milk. Factional allies of Keir Starmer are targeting Lambeth Councillor Martin Abrams for his criticism of Labour's anti-ceasefire stance. Right, so I’ve covered some local election successes at Labour’s expense recently where Keir Starmer’s ridiculous anti-ceasefire position, with regards to Israel and Gaza are seeing Labour Councillors resign, or defect, resignations have triggered elections which Labour have then gone on to lose. Labour has lost control of several Councils it held majorities in, Oxford, Burnley and most recently Norwich have all been hit by Starmer’s pro Israel, inhumane humanitarian pause approaches. Well with him now declaring his public praise for Margaret Thatcher and the inspiration he takes from her, as Tony Blair did before him, as I covered in my previous video, the fact he’s lost these local politicians clearly doesn’t faze him in his own personal pursuit for power, they are collateral damage he’s prepared to pay and as if to underline that, not only are Labour councillors leaving, but they might be finding themselves victims of the ongoing purge of anyone who doesn’t drink the kool-aid at the fountain of St Keith the patron saint of kid starvers, as one Councillor, Jewish incidentally, is claiming he’s in danger of being deselected ahead of local election because he dares to be pro Palestine. I wonder how many more Labour councillors are finding themselves in the same boat? Right so, Keir Starmer’s local election record is rank thanks to his overt support for Israel, Zionist without qualification, his opposition to ceasefires despite it literally how you find lasting peace and stop killing, a strange position for an apparent former human rights lawyer and it;’s not that surprising when you figure how disgusted people are by that stance. It has caused his party real damage, over 50 councillors up and down the country have resigned, he lost 10 front benchers over a vote on a ceasefire, but he hasn’t actually budged an inch on anything, He won’t change, won’t listen, the only thing that matters are his polling numbers and local Labour councillors? Well, they likely don’t register on his radar as they go. He doesn’t care, as long as his journey to number 10 seems academic, nothing else matters. Well that might not be completely true. In fact as far as elected Labour figures go, there’s nothing Starmer hates more than somebody else getting ideas of their won ,daring to oppose the law as he lays it down in his own party. The rotten lefties must go, we’re all about Thatcherism in Labour now, we’re all about Israel as we always have been, those lovely lobbyists and their donations, we need to deliver on what they are paying for yada yada yada. Well we’ve seen deselections of lefty MPs under the auspices of boundary changes, so should we be surprised he’s trying to ditch local councillors the same way? Doctors Without Borders, Medecins Sans Frontieres, have documented an attack on their aid convoy, they say was an Israeli attack. Right, so Doctors Without Borders, or Medecins Sans Frontieres to give them their proper name, is a humanitarian aid charity most of us have heard of. From warzones to disease epidemics, they send doctors and nurses in to help, do sterling work, providing medical care and aid, in places where for whatever reason there might not be very much available. Certainly, right now, this applies to Gaza and they are very much there, very much present, working, in their clearly marked vehicles and of course Israel know they are there, because they let them in, nobody can go in or out of Gaza without Israel allowing it, the biggest open air prison on the planet as it is. MSF will be on the ground, they will go to where patients cannot reach hospitals, they will be working in hospitals too supplementing staff numbers to cope with the crisis, but given the Israeli targeting of hospitals particularly, the horrifying, deeply disturbing footage that we’ve seen come out, that MSF have found Israel to have deliberately targeted one of their own convoys, can we really deny any longer that Israel are deliberately targeting medical aid in Gaza to strip the people there of the medical help they should expect of need under international law? Right, so hospital strikes going on in Gaza, stories connected with these have been numerous, from bombing of hospitals, to the IDF going into them and planting evidence basically to justify them doing so, making out they are Hamas bases, those weapons behind MRI machines I still can’t get over, but also the appalling reports of newborn babies dying, oxygen being cut off, doctors being driven out and prevented from caring for vulnerable infants who died as a result. The stories of the IDF and their assaults on hospitals and medical staff are easily the most gut wrenching I’ve heard and the ones I found most profound, the ones that affected me the most personally. How anyone can hear those stories borne out, by the staff involved, the condemnation globally, it just sickens you to the core. Now, targeting static healthcare centres like hospitals, taken alongside other public infrastructure in the north, its impossible to say this isn’t a genocide being enacted, you’re a fool or just inherently dishonest or delusional, to think otherwise in the face of the evidence of 2 months of Israeli assault on Gaza, so far beyond a proportionate response to what Hamas did on October 7th it’s insane, but of course since the ceasefire we’ve now seen attacks in central Gaza and attacks in Southern Gaza, the IDF have now launched a ground invasion of southern Gaza, so that is now going to get even worse and remember this is where people were told to go to be safe, yet now, it’s become clear Israel didn’t mean that either. Henry Kissinger's legacy is one of the death of millions, but his malignant influence sadly lives on in Labour leaders past and present. Right, so Henry Kissinger is dead and I was always taught to not speak ill of the dead, but in this case, it’s frankly all good and decent people have, given how many people this despicable human being sent to their graves early, making it all the more perverse that he himself should reach the grand old age of 100, well past his sell by date to many. And while many people are opining on the man’s track record, a short one in government actually, some might be surprised to hear, but one marked by so much death and tragedy, that it might perhaps not surprise people here in the UK, that he was considered something of an idol to a certain Tony Blair, Kissinger in many ways being the blueprint for the sort of politician Blair went on to be, but if you think Kissinger’s influence on Labour stopped there, you would unfortunately be very wrong as his ties to Keir Starmer have also been well documented and we can see that relationship and that influence being borne out in what Starmer is doing in the here and now and what he might take into government himself. Right so, this is a bit of a longer vid, I was toying with making two vids covering the connections between Henry Kissinger and Tony Blair and Keir Starmer, but actually things are so intertwined, it proved difficult to do that, so I hope you’ll bear with me and see this longer vid through, it’ll be worth it I hope! Anyway, Henry Kissinger is dead, for many people even with just a passing familiarity with the mans gross deeds when part of the US administration he is regarded as a mass murderer, but it’s possible it hadn’t registered with some people, the sad news of several other deaths on the same day, Shane McGowan of the Pogues, Dean Sullivan from Brookside, even perhaps former chancellor Alistair Darling, he of the infamous black eyebrows mean you might have meant you missed it. A spiritualist type might perhaps think Kissinger had to take a few more down with him as he went, but let me just give you a brief overview of what this man did, before we get onto his influence of Labour leaders later on, in case you think I’m being overly caustic because actually I think I’m being very restrained. Henry Kissinger’s legacy, aside from in our current and former Labour Party, is that he made a lot of money, he held a lot of power and he killed a lot of people. He was insanely clever, but was not a decent man with it and that’s a horrible combination in power. In some ways it is a relief he was only in the White House for 8 years, 2 US terms, serving under Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, where he was a national security adviser under the former and US Secretary of State under the latter, but his influence has lived on through what he did in US foreign policy and again still, through politicians today including here. BBC bias is back in force as the blatantly pro Israel headlines return following the end of a weeklong ceasefire. Right, so the BBC, they’ve come in for some heavy criticism for their coverage of events in Gaza, their choice of language in relation to Israel versus that of Gaza and you know the sort of thing I mean here, Israeli’s get killed whereas as Gazans ‘have died,’ Gazans get evacuated instead of blatantly displaced, or forcibly transferred. Israel is defending itself rather than committing genocide, we know the way these things get presented and we also know many media outlets have been rinsed by the public who are more aware now of this situation in the Middle East to an extent better than ever before thanks to alternative and independent media utilising social media to unspin the narratives being set by mainstream sources and expose what they could and should be saying if it wasn’t for the fact they want to present a narrative rather than just report the events as they are happening. Well with the ceasefire now over, we’re back to business as usual at the BBC but with their narratives, their headlines not having changed, still making these mistakes, still offending so many people that Israel is being treated differently to Palestine, people are more angrily calling out what they see as an absolute disgrace, and two headlines over the last couple days in particular have encouraged more disdain and disgust from the British public. Right so, BBC headlines, much like a lot of our mainstream media have come in for criticism in how they are presenting events and it’s the choice of language that causes the most offence, not only because of how they are choosing to present the news, with a blatant underlying bias in the way they do so, but it’s dishonest as well. Let’s start with this one here, where in the wake of Israel beginning to pound Gaza once more on Friday morning, beginning at 5am our time as they did, later that day the BBC ran the headline: ‘Hamas run health ministry says 178 killed in Gaza as fighting resumes.’ For a change, they’ve used the words killed, but they haven’t explicitly said 178 Gazans there. The bigger problem with this headline, is that they felt the need to say Hamas run health ministry. By doing that, they’ve implied that the health ministry, being Hamas run, with Hamas being a terrorist group as far as this country is concerned, if they are reporting the casualties, why should we believe the word of terrorists on this? Of course they’ll say a big number, why should we believe it? It offers a narrative that this is something we should all take with a pinch of salt, yet the BBC still ran the story, so if that is what they want us to think, why report it? As of 5am GMT, Israel resumed it's assault on Gaza, but with several reasons why being pushed by the media, what is the truth? Right, so Israel has resumed hostilities blaming Hamas for doing so, hardly breaking news, as they never admit to do anything wrong themselves. Now depending on what media outlet you’re reading or watching, you’ll be given varying reasons for why Israel have done this, all blaming Hamas, but both Israel and Hamas agreed to a further ceasefire extension just yesterday, so what changed? Some sources talk of an attack in East Jerusalem, others a rocket attack by Hamas on Israel, others talk about a refusal to release more hostages, so what exactly has happened here and who’s version of events can we trust? Right, so the ceasefire has ended, if Keir Starmer is currently running around with a grin on his face squealing I told you so it wouldn’t be surprising, but he’s still wrong, because a ceasefire is still the only route to a lasting peace and an end to the conflict, he hadn’t made the call to make it permanent, just the hope it’d last longer and so it is now over, at least for now. Resumption of hostilities is absolutely a setback here, but diplomacy is still the only way out of this and the same calls made before that brought about a week a peace, need to be made again to make it longer. Right, so why have Israel gone on the attack again then? Oh well it’s Hamas’ fault the terrorists have fired their tin can rockets at us again, so now we’re back to firing back our state of the art US and UK made arsenal at them. There are a few reasons being mainstreamed right now as the cause, all of whom seem to be peddling the official line being given by the IDF, because, they never lie do they? Honestly after all the debunkings of the propaganda they’ve been spewing out in recent weeks how any supposed journalist can type their words as some form of factual evidence without blushing I don’t know, but this is what mainstream sources are saying, in this case Sky News, the narrative being set that Hamas broke the truce, despite Israel having broken the ceasefire agreement on multiple occasions and Hamas actually, not choosing to abandon the peace effort, but instead holding Israel to account. The other day the ceasefire got extended because Hamas refused to release a batch of hostages, until Israel stepped back into line, they having not released women and children they themselves had been holding based on how long they’d been held for and also for sending the IDF around to the families of said hostages, threatening them if they dared celebrate publicly the return of their loved ones. So there is little reason why the Hamas authorities in Gaza would breach the ceasefire agreement, when they’ve been the ones holding Israel to it. Yet, the IDF are saying that Hamas violated the operational pause and fired toward Israeli territory. Now, as always seems to be the case, we’ve seen no evidence of this, but who knows? Perhaps this time they’ll produce some. The scale of the win by the Green Party on Camden Council, in Keir Starmer's constituency should cause Labour worry! Right, so Starmer’s had his backside handed to him in his own back yard by the Green Party has he? This should serve as a warning, but I doubt he’ll take heed. Politics at local council level has been dominated by stories of Labour resignations, defections and by-election losses, in no small part due to the position of Kier Starmer with respect to the situation in Gaza right now and the atrocities being committed by Israel following a Hamas attack, which to all except the most hardened Zionists is seen as disproportionate to the point of being a genocide and an example of ethnic cleansing, any attempt to impose sanctions upon which has seen the UN Security Council get vetoed time after time by the US. But for all the claims I and others have made that things may not be looking as rosy electorally for Starmer and Co as national polling might suggest, these matters are dismissed as being irrelevant because local election results are not a good analogy for national results and although true, some of the scale of the losses and where they are happening, in staunch Labour strongholds makes me think they’re foolish to dismiss such things out of hand. But now we’ve had a result in Starmer’s own constituency, a by-election on Camden Borough Council the result of which should worry him significantly, if this is how his own constituents feel about the party he leads and of course the power they have directly over him, come the General Election. Right, so it’s local council by-election time again, though this one was a little bit different, this one was a Green Party defence, triggered as it has been by the departure of Sian Berry, the former Green Party leader, as she is now running to replace the retiring Caroline Lucas in Brighton Pavilion. Therefore her Highgate seat was being vacated and having been lost to the Greens by Labour previously, very narrowly, this was expected to be a tough defence, Labour really wanted this seat back, so that Highgate Ward would once again be 100% Labour, the Ward also having two Labour Councillors currently, but things did not go that way. What you have to realise first here, is how tight the race was previously when this seat was last contested, Camden Borough Council had it’s last set of local elections only last year, so we’re only 18 months in and Sian Berry topped the vote for Highgate Ward with 1,967 votes on a 49% turnout, local elections always low. The Labour candidate, also elected to the Ward, was just 69 votes behind her, the Labour candidate who didn’t quite make the cut coming fourth, was still only 440 votes behind Berry, so you can see how narrowly she got elected to the Council. Suspicions of another Labour parliamentary stitch up have arisen as a Palestine Aid CEO loses out to a Starmer staffer's son. Right, so more allegations of vote rigging in Labour parliamentary selection votes came out last night, following on from those allegations still dogging Croydon East and the selections there, which I covered in another video, blaming heavily as they are, the online Anonyvoter voting system that Labour uses. This time, the seat in question is Beckenham and Penge, a brand new seat taking in a chunk of the Greater London seats of Beckenham and Lewisham West and Penge, so you can just smell London Labour all over this once more and also Anonyvoter again too as the result, which saw a Palestinian aid charity CEO defeated by just 8 votes was apparently down to a glut of online and postal votes coming in at the last minute for another candidate, a certain Liam Conlon, who’s name to most people won’t be familiar at all, but his mother is a lot better known, since is mum happens to be Keir Starmer’s relatively brand new chief of staff and author of the Gray Report into Partygate, Sue Gray. A labour staffer close to Starmer and her son just happens to get the required votes at the last minute? Come off it. Right, so nepotism wins the day again then is it Damo you might be thinking and well, you wouldn’t be alone on thinking that, along with Anonyvoter facing accusations of having delivered the desired result to Team Keith, as Sue Gray’s son Liam Conlon wins the selection for the, due to boundary changes, brand new seat of Beckenham and Penge, and being a brand new seat within the bounds of Greater London, the more and more suspiciously regarded London Labour has oversight for such processes. It certainly doesn’t help that London Labour’s twitter account has gushingly put out a post saying: ‘Congratulations to Liam Conlon who has been selected as our Labour candidate for Beckenham and Penge.’ Will right wing Boris Johnson supporters, who blame Gray for doing in their man and who’s departure from the civil service to join Starmer’s team cry foul over this? Does a bear s**t in the woods I would say, but their ire, misplaced in this case in my opinion, isn’t really the story here, because the real story is another parliamentary candidate selection going to a favoured candidate, who is the son of one of Starmer’s most senior staff and it just screams of favours being done. Making this one even worse though, is that the narrowly defeated candidate just happens to be the CEO of a Palestinian aid charity working out there in Gaza right now. The optics for Labour even if there were no additional suspicion of vote rigging in this instance, are absolutely appalling. Starmer has consistently backed Israel, backed them committing war crimes even, though he just denies it, we heard him say it on LBC, that will never go away. The Tories sneaked in a spying clause to their Data Protection and Digital Information Bill last night, fixating on finding benefit fraud. Right, so last night the Tories Data Protection and Digital Information Bill passed third reading and has now been passed onto the House of Lords, but not before the nasty party snuck in a last minute extra bit of nastiness, to force all banks to monitor the accounts of benefit claimants looking for suspected fraud. I can only assume it’s too much to ask they do this for offshore accounts of the rich in the Caymans or British Virgin Islands of course, but no, they’re going to make the banks do broad checks on benefit claimants, in a bid to save half a billion quid over 5 years. Here’s a thought. How about you do this to Michelle Mone’s bank account instead? Or ask Dido Harding where that £37bn in test and trace cash went? This is yet another culture, yet more persecution for people already struggling in their daily lives with their help, now not knowing if Big Brother is rifling through their finances. Right so, as if the disabled, the long term sick, the out of work, don’t have enough on their plates right now, as the Tories look set to find them fit for work come what may or die in the process, somehow managing to become even crueller in their plans outlined in the Autumn Statement, now they’ll be spying on your bank accounts too. Worse, there was no objection to it. Normally when you see one of these votes happening in parliament the speaker of deputy speaker asks for the ayes to the right and the noes to the left and when the noes are loud enough, they call division and MPs trundle off to vote. There was no division regarding this extra clause. The ayes had it, the ayes had it. There was a later division vote on the schedule for bank spying, not the clause the Tories snuck in and just 52 MPs voted against it, just 7 of those were Labour, most were SNP. Starmer in customary style, sat on his hands over this, sat on the fence, a*se full of splinters as per usual. The allegation, the justification for this rule, is that the number of benefit claimants has gone up since the pandemic, so we’re talking all those people left with Long Covid, or associated other health issues as the obvious target of this move, combined with Hunt’s horrible move to toughen up sanctions even further, to the point of stripping people of their right to access free healthcare, legal aid and more. They allege that with more claimants, comes more fraud, completely ignoring the fact as ever, that benefit fraud is basically negligible, whilst tax fraud is many times greater. Those people might be Tory donors though, or potentially Labour ones these days since they basically nodded this through by providing no opposition to it. The boss of one of the biggest Trade Unions in the country is being summoned to court for defamation. Where are the media? Right, so a huge trade union scandal is emerging concerning Unite the Union right now and what makes it so huge and so downright bonkers is the fact a trade union is being taken to court for discrimination, for being a bad employer itself. The scale of it shouldn’t be underestimated either as news just out reports that both the current General Secretary of the union Sharon Graham and the former General Secretary Len McCluskey are both being called to give evidence, being summoned to court, subpoenaed, to give evidence personally in this case, because this goes to the very top, the person concerned who has been discriminated against has been done so under the very worst of circumstances and frankly the question everyone is asking, is why is such a huge story not getting reported in the mainstream media of the UK? This is one of the biggest trade unions in the country, usually the right wing press can’t contain themselves from attacking trade unions, so why, when they’ve got what looks to be a justifiable source of criticism for one are they ignoring it? Right, so a discrimination case against a bad employer is exactly what trade unions are supposed to be therefore, but what do you do if the trade union is itself the discriminator? The bad boss? Well, we’re getting a lesson in that courtesy of a gentleman by the name of Brendan Ogle, who is taking his employer, Unite the Union to court, along with the current union boss Sharon Graham and an ally of hers, Tony Woodhouse, over defamation and breaches of the Employment Equality Act and it’s a pretty sickening story as to how we’ve got here actually, which I covered some time ago in other videos, but which is worth a brief recap on now. Brendan Ogle is the most senior Unite figure in Ireland. Having had to take time off to deal with a cancer diagnosis however, upon his return to work he suddenly discovered the new regime, run by Sharon Graham, wanted him instead shuttled off to a lower position, some 100 miles away, all despite being found fully fit to return to his previous role. If getting cancer is now a sackable offence in effect, what does that say about the employer? What would a trade union do in response to such treatment of an employee by another business? Still the Labour Party crumbles under Starmer, losing control of ANOTHER council as ANOTHER 4 Labour Councillors resign. Right, so the Labour Party at local level at least is continuing to crumble faster than an overdunked rich tea biscuit as straight after losing two seats on Newham Borough Council last week courtesy of a by-election pasting by the now official opposition Newham Independent Group and a defection from Labour to said group, last night news broke of Labour losing control, majority control at any rate, of Norwich City Council, as no fewer than 4 Councillors dramatically quit, as well as a Norfolk County Councillor, now sitting as independents. Today another Norfolk County Councillor has quit, bringing the total to 6, so will there be more? We’ll have to wait and see. What’s triggered it this time though? Well, to likely no surprise to regular watches of this channel, the answer ultimately goes back to Keir Starmer, but actually on this occasion it might not, at least entirely, be down to the brylcreemed one’s position on ceasefires and his attitudes towards Israel and Gaza… Right, so another council collapsing out of Labour’s control then is it Damo? Well, certainly less under their control than it was before, as now 5 Norwich City Councillors and 1 Norfolk County Councillor have quit the Labour Party in one fell swoop, leaving Labour running a minority control council as things stand as I write this. Labour are down to 19 Councillors, leaving them now 2 short of a majority, versus 13 Green Councillors, 3 Lib Dems and now 4 Independents. Labour could struggle to get key votes passed now. This is the third council in as many weeks that Labour have lost control of, following Oxford City Council, where they retain minority control as they do here, but they lost control of Burnley Borough Council completely, with 9 councillors and 11 councillors respectively having resigned. So why have they gone? The circumstances of the original 4 City Councillors, one of whom was a former parliamentary candidate, resigning apparently arises from a Full Council meeting, the biggest meeting of the month, the monthly which all councillors attend, where the four resigned after apparently the public were removed, this is usually because confidential matters require discussion and typically happens at the end of the session, but it is alleged the police had to be called too and I’ve heard no detail as to why that would have been, but the crux of the matter is that apparently they acted following the Council refusing to answer a question brought by the Green Party group on the council, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza. That is one reason I have seen being passed around for the resignations, however it isn’t the only one and certainly isn’t the narrative shock horror, the BBC have picked up on. BBC East, so the local Beeb, are reporting it is actually more of that good old fashioned Starmer faction interference in selection processes that triggered this, having spoken to at least one of the resigning councillors. The antisemitism march this weekend was marked by the likes of Tommy Robinson taking part, so how was it anti racist? Right, so this weekend saw another march in London, but this time it wasn’t a pro-Palestinian one, it was supposedly a march against antisemitism, definitely couldn’t disagree with that sentiment in and of itself, but the sea of Israeli flags made this feel less about antisemitism and more about pushing back against the marches we’ve previously witnessed up and down the country for Palestine and for Gaza and more about celebrating Israel instead. This was a show of people taking a side in what is happening in the Middle East, not so much a stance against racism and when one of the key figures who turned up was a certain Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, preferring to be known as Tommy Robinson, the former leader of the English Defence League masquerading as a journalist, it pretty much rubber stamps this as not being an anti racist event, not an antisemitism march, this was a pro-Zionist exercise, a who’s who of siding with the oppressors and occupiers. Right, so I’m all for supporting the fight against antisemitism, the real thing, the genuine article I’d hope we all were, so long as all other forms of racism are treated as equally disgusting and called out wherever they are found, but of course we know this isn’t the case, we know antisemitism has been weaponised to death, this has harmed the fight against the real thing and has led to other forms of racism, notably Islamophobia being treated as somehow less important. So a march against antisemitism isn’t something that ought to be argued against, unless it ends up once more as an exercise in weaponizing the issue and in my opinion, that is exactly what we saw in London this weekend gone, whether that had been the original intention or not. If it was not, then unfortunately bad faith actors turned into one, if it was, shame on you all. Given the organisers were the discredited Campaign Against Antisemitism, I’m firmly of the opinion it was the latter, especially when you consider Gideon Falter, the CEO of the Campaign Against Antisemitism, is a board member of the Jewish National Fund, which raises money to help settlers illegally settle in the Palestinian Occupied Territories. It is also behind the rancid claim that the pro-Palestine marches turned Labour into a no-go area for Jews. Funny that, I could have sworn there were loads of them at those marches, perhaps they were the wrong kind though? When you go onto social media and you look at the images, it is a sea of Israeli flags and you can argue that their presence is just a nod to the Jewish faith via the Jewish state, but if you really want to stand up for human rights and against racism, then flying the flag of an occupying state, embroiled in genocide of Gazan people right now, majority Muslim, but not exclusively so, might not be the best way of standing against antisemitism right now. The Newham Independent Group get blocked, petulantly it seems, by a local Labour Cllr, but he's so much more than that... Right, so it would seem Labour are being petulant little cry babies following a defection and a lost by-election on Newham Borough Council last week, a Council which up until 2018 incidentally, they held every single seat on, but they are not taking the losses of those two seats last week, both to the newly minted Newham Independent Group, with good grace, or even taking note of the reasons they perhaps lost the seat and you might be thinking Damo you’re covering a lot of the goings on in Newham right now, but what you have to realise is here is that what is happening there, with Labour having insulted vast swathes of it’s Muslim vote particularly, Newham being a very multicultural, very diverse in the religions and ethnicities the Council there represent, they created division within their strongholds and that is a picture that will be reflected elsewhere too. How Labour react to that therefore, says much for their electoral chances at both local and national levels going forwards. Therefore this most recent development, ought to concern Labour voters greatly, and indeed Newham Borough Council voters as to how cohesive the Council will be in its work and how the still dominant Labour group react to having a slightly bigger opposition now, reacting in fact to their official opposition on the Council, as the Newham Independent Group actually are now, because the Statutory Deputy Mayor of Newham no less has, in what can only be described as an infantile move, just blocked the Newham Independent Group’s official account on Twitter! Why should this matter nationally though Damo? How does this send a message to voters up and down the country? Well, watch on and I’ll tell you… Right, so the Newham Independent Group, with three Councillors on Newham Borough Council are now the official opposition, outnumbering as they do the two Green Party Councillors there and it seems that there’s some very bad blood amongst the remaining Labour Councillors, or at least amongst some of them, so before I get onto this key Labour figure blocking the Newham Independents, here’s an example of that, that happened just last night. Yesterday, Newham Labour Councillor Lewis Gordon Godfrey took to the site formerly known for it’s little blue bird and accused the Newham Independent Group of staging a protest by interrupting a 14 year old boy playing the flute. This was an event being held at Queen’s Market and at said market were market traders. Unhappy market traders. Although two members of the Newham Independents were present at this event, they were not involved in any protest, because the protest came from the market traders themselves. Having lost swathes of Muslim voters due to his flip-flopping over ceasefires, the fact one is working is not lost on Starmer. Right, so Keir Starmer’s ceasefire stances have proven he has more faces than a town clock, as yet again he is gaslighting us as to what he actually wants by way of peace in the Middle East and the ongoing attacks by Israel on Gaza and to my mind it shows that having been wrongfooted, with severe polling damage having been wrought, this slight change of stance might just make this statement a bit of a begging letter to all those Muslim voters Labour has lost over this genocide, because of his pathetic posturing over it. The only line on this he has stuck to is Israel’s right to defend itself from people who’s land they have been occupying for decades and people know the history, the truth and more eyes are being opened to it daily. But of course we’ve seen a 4 day ceasefire haven’t we? This has now been extended by a further two days until Wednesday, and now Starmer, the man who said a ceasefire would embolden Hamas, the man who said humanitarian pauses, where the killing could resume once aid had been sent in was better, now wants a longer ceasefire, says more time is needed as it becomes abundantly obvious that actually Hamas can be negotiated with, actually they will obey a ceasefire, actually it’s Israel that has broken it multiple times and that relief from being blown to bits means aid can still get in, news to the former human rights lawyer that people don’t need to keep being killed after for that to happen. Well naturally he’s been shredded for his naked opportunism once again, for being the man with more flip flops than a beach hut. Right, so Keir Starmer, for it is he yet again embarrassing himself publicly by thinking we’ve all forgotten about his multiple different positions on the Israel Gaza genocide that has been playing out for getting close to two months now. The man bought and paid for by the Israel lobby was always going to be backed into a corner over this matter, he can’t afford to come out against Israel and on the side of Palestine, so he’s moved on from the indefensible excuse that Israel has a right to defend itself, when actually international law was more on the side of Palestinians having the right as an occupied people to resist occupation, the only both sidesing in this matter is that innocent lives on both sides have been lost and they must be condemned. Hamas certainly are guilty of some of that, but evidence is there that Israel are guilty of multiple war crimes, not just in Gaza, but against their own people as well. Israel broke the ceasefire with Hamas in under an hour, rendering Starmer's 'ceasefires will embolden Hamas' schtick redundant. Right, so the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, four days, from Friday the 24th November through until Monday the 27th was broken within an hour by the IDF, as Palestinians waving white flags, believing the ceasefire had begun, rightfully, came out of hiding only to be shot at, with 2 people being killed. A reprehensible act for which Israel needs to be held to account over, but of course Keir Starmer said a ceasefire would embolden Hamas, not the IDF didn’t he? Hamas have thusfar followed the terms of the ceasefire, even delayed the release of a second batch of hostages until Israel behaved themselves and did likewise, not a sign that Starmer is backing the right side here, but why did Israel think they could get away with breaching the terms of the ceasefire, why did they do so at all and what are Gazans actually doing right now if they aren’t all Hamas and being emboldened as Keir Starmer said they would be? Right, so we’re on day 3 of the ceasefire between Israel and Palestine, the hope that this would turn into something longer and more meaningful however has been shaken not by Hamas, but by Israel, who chose to shoot at white flag waving Palestinians coming out of hiding, who decided to try and return to their homes. That was why Israel broke the ceasefire within an hour. If the Gazans had headed southwards like Israel are demanding they do, still itself a war crime, it is forced displacement, then they wouldn’t have been shot at, not that that excuses the ceasefire being breached by Israel anyway. Israel don’t want Gazans heading north. We know this, the order to evacuate and move south was not only illegal, but also ridiculous and not without Israel still targeting people moving south. Convoys hit and more people killed, every target in Gaza City in the north, where the people have been told to leave has been attacked, hospitals, schools, refugee camps all in the name of driving out and targeting Hamas, the IDF planting evidence, it’s blatant, we shouldn’t shy away from saying it, planting evidence, weapons caches behind MRI machines, and in schools, tunnels that turn out to be water tanks, come off it, their excuses are insulting, but equally forcing people to move south was never going to expose Hamas either. Israel make so much of Hamas hiding behind civilians as their excuse to kill lots of Gazan civilians, but they’ll have headed south too and presumably that’s why Hamas have carried on targeting people in the south of Gaza as well. But back to the here and now, Gazans coming out of hiding, of believing a ceasefire is in place, well they just wanted to go home. Why if things are over, or so they hope, are they not allowed to head back towards Gaza City? Why did the IDF shoot at them even under ceasefire terms? The only reasonable explanation is that Israel have no intention of letting these people return north.
