Part 3: The Journeyman - [Emanuel Augustus Career Tribute]
Part Three follows Emanuel Augustus through the least prosperous past of his career as he gets relegated to the role of a journeyman, leaving his chances at gaining renown few and far between. As he takes more and more fights on short notice and without proper preparation, Emanuel must continually rely on his experience and versatile skill-set to compete with an ever growing list of tough opponents.

Part 2 - The Road Warrior [Emanuel Augustus Career Tribute]
Part Two showcases a pair of Augustus' most notable performances, both taken amidst a demanding schedule of top opponents in dramatic bouts, which are also highlighted. Emanuel was without a hometown of his own, so to speak, which meant he was always on the road taking fights in unfavorable circumstances. Regardless of the situation or outcome though, Augustus always endeavored to put on a show.

[SPOILERS BELOW]
VS DIAZ: Augustus edged out Diaz early, but his inconsistent work-rate over 12 rounds let him down. I scored it for Diaz 115-113, although even if Emanuel's performance had been more convincing it was obvious that on that night the judges were not looking to give him credit.
VS REID: This should have been a close but comfortable win for Augustus. It looked like the judges gave the tighter rounds to Reid. He did have his moments, but Augustus was overall the better man on the night. Until he fought Ruslan Provodnikov, Augustus credited Reid as the hardest puncher he'd faced.
VS MOLINA: This was an action-packed fight in which Molina, a 2-time world champ accustomed to fighting at lighter weights, used his speed and work-rate to overwhelm Augustus. Although Molina deservedly won a wide decision, it was competitive throughout and Emanuel had plenty of quality moments against the skillful veteran.
VS MAYWEATHER JR: Augustus went on the record to say that Floyd had the best defense, fastest hands, best footwork, and best boxing skills he'd faced. "After him everybody looked like they were in slow motion... I wasn't a fan of his style but he did his thing. He had fast hands, good footwork and a defense that forced combos". In his post-fight interview, Augustus said that he felt like he gave the people what they wanted to see, which was the classic battle of a boxer against a fighter.
VS MILIAN: Each one of Milian's 13 wins had come against opponents with losing records. Matching him up with a 22-17-4 Augustus looked like a reasonable match up on paper, but his inexperience was exposed and Augustus scored a relatively simple stoppage in the 2nd round.
VS GRIFFITH: Griffith's previous bout was a commendable loss against 29-0 Paul Spadafora for a world title, but against Augustus he was outmatched skill-wise. He was hurt multiple times but refused to go down, showing plenty of heart. The ESPN crew accused Augustus of "carrying" Griffith because it seemed that Augustus was spending more time clowning instead of finishing Griffith off. Nonetheless, a barrage of heavy punches led to a stoppage in the 10th and final round.
VS WARD: This was "Irish" Micky Ward's 26th appearance on ESPN. He had also made a habit of delivering fan friendly fights. Emanuel displayed tremendous resilience in going 10 brutal rounds with Ward. Afterwards, Augustus credited Ward with the best chin he's ever faced. “It was two hardheads in there trying to get it,” said Augustus. “I could have said something about the knockdown, but hey, that was my rest period... Sometimes I wonder if I wouldn’t have took that knee, would it be a draw". Considering that two judges were blindly scoring for Ward (Fagin and Nolan - sound like Irish lads), it was highly unlikely that Augustus was going to receive anything but a loss. Those two inexplicably scored the first round 10-7 & 10-8 for Ward - scores generally reserved for rounds featuring knockdowns. Despite the outcome, Emanuel and Micky became great friends after the bout, "You can definitely see the brotherhood with him and Micky,” a friend of Emanuel's, LJ Morvant, said. “That right there is different from the rest of them. Micky had two dance partners that took it to that level and that was Emanuel and, rest in peace, Arturo Gatti."

The B Sider - Emanuel Augustus Tribute [Part 1]
Part One takes a look at Emanuel Augustus' beginnings in the sport of boxing, showcasing his earliest available fight at 20 years of age versus Billy Coddington, along with two dramatic fights against Allan Vester and Terrell Finger. It also highlights his journey through the ranks as the opponent for top tier contenders and prospects.
[The Vester fight has low quality audio. It is not only quiet, but only comes out of the left channel. My crappy program doesn't export to mono audio so I couldn't do much about it.]

Emanuel Augustus Highlight - The Drunken Master
Augustus clowning everybody.
Augustus obviously didn't always box this way. This video is purely showing him at his clowning best.
Early on there were also a bunch of comments re: Augustus' poor record. Boxing fans know that records can be deceiving. E.g. the 1st guy in the white shorts (Alex Trujillo) was a top ranked fighter at 23-1 before Augustus embarrassed him and essentially ended his career. Plus it should be well known by now that Augustus was a journeyman who never had the management and promotion team behind him that "star prospects" have to build a fancy looking zero.
Boxers co-starring in this vid (in order of appearance along with their record at the time):
Alex Trujillo (white) 23-1
Ray Oliveira (red) 47-10-2
Courtney Burton (black w/orange) 20-2
Soren Sondergaard (white) 38-1
Herman Ngoudjo (dark leopard) 11-0
Alvaro Aguilar (black w/white) 16-0
Marteze Logan (leopard) 22-23-2
Allan Vester (white w/black) 10-0
Wale Omotoso (Australian flag) 13-0
Micky Ward (white w/black) 36-10
Dillon Carew (black w/white)16-12-3
Ivan Robinson (blue) 22-0
Floyd Mayweather Jr (black w/white) 23-0
Diosbelys Hurtado (Cuban flag) 21-1
Jun Paderna (yellow) 12-10-3
David Diaz (black) 22-0
Antonio Diaz (white w/red) 29-2
Jon Thaxton (gold w/black) 16-3
Luis Alejandro Ulgade (white w/black) 10-5
Mike Griffith (black) 23-7
Russell Stoner Jones (white w/red) 19-16

Fight Night Round 4 - Emanuel Augustus vs Courtney Burton RE-ENACTMENT
A re-enactment of boxing corruption at it's best (or worst?) using the video game, Fight Night Round 4.
Emanuel Augustus vs Courtney Burton
If you're unfamiliar with this match up, you can check out the full fight here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnrEz4hKgZ4
Moments to note:
[ 0:46-1:18 ] - Augustus took control of the fight early. I messed up the order a little by leaving out the clowning till the end, although he did do some drunken dancing late too.
[ 1:21-2:14 ] - The knock down in round 4 that was ruled low by referee Dan Kelley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFyak-KQn5Y (go to 2:21). The punch landed on the belt, which isn't low, and was effective because of the first punch which clearly hurt Burton. Burton was given as much time as he needed to recover.
[ 2:15-2:34 ] - Of course the fight wasn't totally one-sided. Burton won some middle rounds by pressuring Augustus when he got lazy.
[ 2:53-3:07 ] - Some showboating that was mentioned earlier. He started it off in round 3 but also did it late too.
[ 3:16-3:31 ] - Augustus getting a point deduction for spinning out of a clinch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-TIJ1CCZDs (go to 0:42). I couldn't make it happen in the game (obviously), but it was too big of an event in the fight to leave out.
[ 4:08-4:47 ] - The decision and Teddy Atlas going off (audio taken from the actual telecast). Two judges scored it 99-90 and 97-92 for Burton, while the other had it 98-94 for Augustus.
Things I left out:
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQV0EKG1bz4 (go to 0:49) During one of Augustus' good offensive sequences Dan Kelley stepped in and warned him of a low blow when the punch was nowhere near low.
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQV0EKG1bz4 (go to 6:50) Burton threw plenty of illegal rabbit punches (punches to the back of the head) of Augustus, but wasn't warned at all. Another thing I couldn't mimic in the game.
- Let me know if there's anything else!

CREATOR'S NOTE: Augustus is featured in EA Sports' Fight Night Round 4, although I had to create Courtney Burton (I just used a default face, it doesn't really look much like him). Augustus doesn't really accurately depict his appearance at the time of the fight either, but it would've been stupid to create a boxer for him when he's already in the game. All I did was change his apparel.

So I was playing 'The Godfather' on the ol' XBOX, and it starts off that you have to create and customise your own character.

The Warriors - "The Coney Killer"

This video was made using "The Warriors" PS2 video game and is an original idea from Gor Man Productions.
CREATORS NOTE: this is just a stupid video to let the subscribers know that I'm still around. I actually got the idea to do this while "filming" footage for the next Warriors Profiles vid...
10/11/09: Also a lot of people are asking about how I got the mask. It's not a cheat/glitch and anyone can do it. When roaming the streets of Coney Island (after leaving the hangout) you can do side missions around Coney. One of the side missions is to help some guy get his mascot costume back after some chumps beat him up and stole it from him. You have to track them down and waste em. When you find them, obviously one of the muggers will have the costume on. During the fight, his mask will fall off when you hit him in the head. You can either pick it up and put it on straight away or wait till you've beaten them all up to put it on, as long as you've got it on before the mission ends and the screen fades to black. When the scene refreshes, your warrior should still have the mask on. Feel free to make your own vid of Coney Killer shenanigans!!

₪ The Warriors - "Cowboy Steps Up"

CREATORS NOTE: People will notice a whole lot of inconsistencies within the scenes (e.g. one shot will vary slightly from the last one in terms of minor details). But that's cos you can't get everything perfect in one take! Also I'm expecting a lot of mixed reactions to the song used around the credits. Only Aussies will recognise it!

₪ The Warriors - "The Return of Cleon"

CREATORS NOTE: In response to all the people saying, "thats bullsh!t man he wouldn't do that blah blah blah"; it's just a creative story that I made for entertainment.
I do realise that this situation would be unlikely, and that Cleon has already done a similiar thing like this in the past (where he leaves one gang to start up another), and that the Warriors didn't really desert him etc...
But once again, it's just a video I made for fun. Stop taking it so seriously.

₪ The Warriors - "The Suicide of Rembrandt"

------------
This video was made using "The Warriors" PS2 video game and is an original idea from Gor Man Productions.
CREATORS NOTE: It should be noted that this vid in no way is supposed to be related to or "inspired" by the death of the actor (Marcelino Sánchez) who played Rembrandt.
I came up with the idea for this vid because Rembrandt (the character) was the weakest/youngest/most vulnerable of the Warriors, and therefore the most likely candidate to do a story like this for.
Marcelino Sánchez died of AIDS-related cancer in November, 1986.

This video was made using "The Warriors" PS2 video game and is an original idea from Gor Man Productions.
CREATORS NOTE: this was made as a joke for amusement purposes (clearly). I originally just wanted to throw together some clips from the game and put it to some music but got sidetracked and decided I'd try and make it funny. Enjoy.
EDIT 7/7/08: This movie is a lot different to the other Warriors Profiles movies (probably in a bad way). I was more experimenting and stuffing around with this one for fun but the others are more thoughtfully put together.

Emanuel Augustus - Encore
Another Emanuel Augustus highlight, this time just a quick one using some of the clips I've been gathering for a larger project (that I've been too lazy to get properly started on).
Apologies for the lame watermark but after the other vids I made I noticed that people were just taking my vids, cutting it once or twice and adding a new track to pass it off as their own. I tried to make it as inconspicuous as possible. I don't really mind if people wanna rip and share my work or use the footage I put out there because the more people that see it the better, but I think I need to take some credit. I put a lot of hours into sourcing the fights, watching, clipping, editing with a crappy laptop. So if you wanna ctrl + c that at least gimme a shout out or I'll have to shout out myself, if that makes any sense.
