Western Highland Terrier learns to climb the boat ladder
Gus is a 2-1/2 year old West Highland terrier, Havanese and Jack Russell terrier blend, quite the mix. Gus definately has the energy and excitement levels of a Jack Russell terrier. His human Andrew has mentioned that Gus has the brains to go along with his high energy level, meaning the two are a great pair. Andrew lives on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia which is an area that offers up some incredible spaces for outdoor activities which him and Gus definately are involved in. From hiking, to boating and stand up paddleboarding, Gus is always by Andrew's side. As all of us know, after a hard day of play, there always has to be some downtime. On the day Brent recorded Gus learning to climb the ladder, they had all been out on the boat enjoying the beautiful Vancouver weather for an event called Boat for Hope. Boat for Hope, as Andrew mentioned, is more of a "fun raiser" than fund raiser. The many volunteers spend the day taking less privileged children ,parents and care givers out for some fun on the water. The event is themed around Pirates, so it is a whole lot of fun. The children get to make believe they are protecting the boat's treasure, while fending off Bad Pirates, made up of volunteers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Coast Guard, Search and Rescue and other volunteers, with water guns. After all the activity ,Gus decided he needed a swim which gave Andrew the opportunity to show the crew Gus' new skill. Gus definately is a lover of the sea.

Incredible timelapse video of Grand Cayman sunset
Brent whom caught this beautiful footage, recently visited Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbean. Rum Point, the subject beach in this video is on Grand Cayman Island which is one of three small islands in the Caribbean. These islands are part of the British West Indies. Grand Cayman Island is approximately 22 miles (35km) long with its widest point being 8 miles (13km) wide. The elevation ranges from sea level at the beaches to 60 feet (18m) above sea level on the North Side. Rum Point gave Brent the perfect setting to catch an amazing sunset along with some gorgeous cloud formations. While relaxing on the beach taking in the sunset, Brent decided to set up his iPhone on time-lapse mode and see what it all looked liked in fast mode afterwards. At the very tip of this island paradise is also a precious spot called Starfish Point. The very shallow waters here make for a popular gathering place for pillow cushion sea stars. These plump starfish look like stuffed animals, though they are very much alive and grazing along the seafloor. Bring your snorkel gear to find the starfish on the bottom when you visit, you can even touch them, but resist the urge to lift them out of the water. They are living marine creatures who need to be in the water to survive, and bringing them into the air can cause stress or damage to the animals if they’re kept out long enough. Within the gorgeous shallow waters of Rum Point, snorkelling is also amazing as many southern stingrays, boxfish as well as other tropical fish can be seen at a very close proximity which is amazing. Do not fear these amazing animals, they are curious and love to interact with you. Once Brent was finished enjoying the gorgeous sunset and activities around the beach, he played back his recording and found it so amazing that he wanted to share it. Enjoy what he did, it was an incredible evening.

Reef shark swims close to check out snorkelers at resort
Brent and his wife recently visited Grand Cayman Island which is part of the British West Indies. Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean. The capital city Georgetown is also a major cruise-ship port and site of the ruins of colonial-era Fort George. Beaches and vibrant coral reefs are the island’s hallmarks. Brent stayed in the east end of the island at a resort by the name of Morritt’s Tortuga. The east end of the island is much quieter which is why they chose this resort. The resort has gorgeous white sand beaches and very calm waters for swimming and snorkelling right out front, as this area has an outer reef approximately 300 yards offshore so the larger waves are kept outside the reef. Many tropical fish can be seen while snorkelling at the resort as well as barracuda and tarpon also frequent the pier. While some of these fish are thought by most to be dangerous, these local fish seem very use to all the swimming activity at the pier and just go about their business looking for a snack. Every morning at 11 the restaurant bar feeds the fish right off the dock which brings many fish close by as well as many guests get to enjoy the frenzy of food. On the day Brent recorded this footage, there had been a couple 5 foot long caribbean reef shark swimming very near the dock as well. At times when deep sea fishing boats arrive to clean their catch, the shark come in to investigate. Apparently the sharks get use to the sounds each boat makes and can recognize it from miles away so they follow in to see if they will receive a fish treat from the captain and crew. This morning there had been no fish boats arriving, but the 2 sharks were definately interested in the pier. After a short while 2 snorkelers were noticed entering the water, and rather than alarm them by mentioning the nearby shark, Brent kept an eye on it. As you will see in the video, sharks are very curious creatures, and incredibly beautiful to watch up close. Being a scuba diver that has been around sharks in the water, he knew just how the shark would react. Watch and learn, the ocean is a beautiful place.

The small finger on the island where Rum Point is located, also has a small residential community called Kaibo. Along with some amazing beaches in the tiny area, there is a marina and some great restaurants and bars right on the beaches of Kaibo and Rum Point. At the very tip of this area is a precious spot called Starfish Point. The very shallow waters here make for a popular gathering place for pillow cushion sea stars. Do not fear these amazing animals, they are curious and love to interact with you . Don’t forget your camera.

Rooster gets even after woman mocks his hens
Feeding birds at the park is usually a stress free enjoyable time, right? Recently while vacationing on Grand Cayman Island in the Caribbean, Elsa and her family stopped for a break at Smith Barcadere just South of George Town near the ports where the cruise ships dock. Also known as Smith Cove, Smith Barcadere in the South Sound of Grand Cayman is terrific for photos ops and phenomenal for snorkelling – all with the convenience of public restrooms, picnic benches and outdoor showers. Turquoise waters surround the white sand here, while limestone formations and coral protect this site. With unique drops-offs, guests can swim freely while still being close to the shore, which is great for children and beginners who are looking to learn the basics. Along with all the beauty of the ocean there are also many wild chickens, roosters and at the right time there are baby chicks. Loving the ocean and wildlife, Elsa and family checked out the area seeing if they could go for a swim but the waters were a bit rough so they chose to feed the friendly chickens. While Brent was gathering a piece of bread from the car, Sarah managed to record Elsa making fun of the chickens walking technique. Little did she know, the Boss rooster seemed to be paying attention to all of Elsa’s antics and decided he would get even. Slightly nervous at first Elsa warmed to the gentleness of the cute chickens. Boss rooster decided it was time for a snack and approached Elsa to share in the feast. As you will see, he made his point about making fun of his hens so we are sure Elsa won’t do that again. It is amazing how steady Brent kept the camera while all the time laughing hysterically at Elsa’s reactions to Old Boss rooster. Check out the fun at the beach, it was a blast .

Friendly Stingray mistakes guys bicep for a squid snack
Stingray City is a series of shallow sandbars found in the North Sound of Grand Cayman Island. It is a tourist attraction, where southern stingrays are found in abundance and visitors can pet and interact with the animals. The tours here are very regulated to keep the animals safe with such a great amount of human interaction. The southern stingray seen here has a flat, diamond-shaped disc, with a mud brown, olive, and grey dorsal surface and white underbelly. The barb on its tail is serrated and covered in a venomous mucous, used for self-defense. With such great interaction here, many of these local rays have come to be very friendly and interactive with visitors. The stingrays eat mainly small fish, worms and crustaceans which is why they cruise the sea bed and sandy floor looking for a meal. Larger rays, produce an incredible amount of suction for gathering food and are capable of even sucking a conch snail right out of it’s shell. The day Brent and his wife and step daughter visited stingray city, was the day Brent got to experience just how these rays gather food. Once their tour arrived at the site, they were all given a background on the rays, how they feed and how to handle them. It is very safe here, shuffle your feet when walking, and TRY TO AVOID LIFTING THEM OUT OF THE WATER!! Some things are easier said than done as Brent learned. When feeding squid to the rays, which they love, everyone was instructed to “keep your thumb tucked inside your fingers “ saving you from having your thumb sucked between the hard bony serrated plates they use for grinding food. Another thing Brent forgot, as you will see. After a short instruction from Britney, one of the guides, Brent was game to feed, and cuddle with one of these amazing animals. The feeding went well, but after a small wave caused Brent to raise in the water while supporting the stingray, it fled his arms quikly. At the same time it fled it also mistook Brent's right bicep for a piece of squid. Ouch...Watch and see how it all goes…. of course it went great! These are beautiful creatures in a beautiful part of our world.

The very warm, shallow waters at Rum Point attract many vacationers and locals to enjoy some activities for the day. Also being a scuba diver and generally avid water nut, Brent takes any opportunity to capture sea life in it’s natural habitat whether he is above or below the waves. The southern stingray seen here hunting has a flat, diamond-shaped disc, with a mud brown, olive, and grey dorsal surface and white underbelly. Monkey business with a happy ending
Recently Judith and a group of scuba diver friends travelled from Vancouver British Columbia, Canada to Bali for two weeks of amazing diving and r & r. Before heading back home they took a day trip to some local attractions. One stop along the way was this increasingly popular stop along the roadway where these monkeys have started to congregate near Sang Hyang Ambu. In the video you will see just how well these little monkeys look after and care for each other, sometimes appearing just a little too well. By the little one’s smile, you can tell he is definately enjoying his treatment. Apparently Over the last while, hundreds of monkeys have descended from Gumang Hill and now hang around all over the place, even on the main road to the capital city of Karangasem Regency. It is now becoming a tourist attraction in itself as it is ideally located for travellers along this route to take a short break. It is also just East of the amazing Candidasa beach. A local resident explained to Judith that the monkeys come down from the hills at around 08.00 a.m. and hang around for two or three hours before returning to the hilltop. At first, the monkeys were believed to be the pets of the supernatural ruler of the vicinity and appeared quite wild. More recently, however, contact with humans and an easy supply of food has tamed their atavistic spirit, and now they are quite friendly. Highway travellers often stop here since it lies at a strategic point on the Denpasar - Amlapura main road and is the only entry point to Gumang Temple. Another resident mentioned he feels that the monkeys descend because of the lengthened dry season that accounts for a decreasing food supply. This in turn has attracted travellers to the area, and led the head of the regency to seriously consider developing this little-known spot further.

Seems This Lady Does Not Have The Need For Speed
Who doesn’t love a good supercar, right? The roar of the mighty engine, the laid back position behind the wheel, the speed….it makes your blood boil just by the thought of it! Many love the thrill of getting behind the wheel of one of those bad boys. And then, there are those that are but curious to see what it might feel like, but they would never be caught stiff behind the wheel.
Luckily, someone thought of an awesome business idea. Grab about a dozen of the mightiest engines on the market and charge people for a 10 minute ride in them! You can either go alone or with a driver. Sounds like loads of fun and looks like it too, but when this woman sat in shotgun, she probably had no idea what the pull of the car will feel.
Check out Nadia's reaction during a day at the track through the exotic car experience company at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Epic fail!
They sat her in a <a href="https://rumble.com/v4kzwf-spring-ritual-introducing-the-corvette-z06-to-the-world-once-again..html" target="_blank">Corvette Z06</a>, which boasts a V8, 505 horsepower engine, strapped her in the passenger seat and gave her a helmet as a safety precaution. The driver says “Here we go” and zooms out of the garage, but he has not even pushed the pedal to the metal and Nadia is already screaming at the top of her lungs.
“Oh my God!” Nadia screams, while the driver is having a blast. But if you look closely, you can see Nadia smiling, meaning that she is probably having a blast, but was all that screaming really necessary? When the lap is finally over, the driver teases her with another round, which she so rudely turns down.
She does look like she had an amazing time!

Hidden camera catches escape artist dog
Poncho is an 11 year old rescue dog from Riviera Maya Mexico. Ever since Brent and his family brought her home as a puppy she has been a handful at times. Her personality seems to change from time to time, going from very passive, to quite anxious. As a pup she would climb the fence and Brent would have to chase her down. As time moved on, she still climbed, or jumped the 6 foot fence and became tougher to bring back home. For some reason, Poncho would let Brent get within a few feet of her when she would escape the yard and run down the road, but less thana few feet and she would turn and bolt. Brent would calmly,or course, vocalized very strongly towards Poncho, and walk home. One day while Poncho was out, after her escapade but made it back to the front yard, Brent heard a knock on the front door. Opening the door, Brent was met by an animal control officer. " hi how are you today sir?" . The officer asked Brent. "I see your dog is out roaming the neighbourhood, this is not safe for her or others". Brent explains the situation and at this point of frustration he states to the officer" well i try my best, but if you can catch her she is yours, i am done!!" It was a very tough day on Brent's nerves. Well a few years later, and few less hairs and more grey on Brent's head we have the day that this video was born. Up to this date in May 2018, again Poncho had been getting out of the yard. Although, now she does not run away, she jusy walks around the front yard. Harmless you may be thinking, but Poncho is very protective of her space, so anyone walking near by is not a good thing, for them or Poncho. She is just a very nervous pooch. After several attempt to keep this pooch inside, and not being able to find her escape route, Brent set up the camera. Voila, the answer is clear... Poncho is a very smart and hard working dog. Watch and you will see how ingenious she is, using all her abilities to be free.... to the front yard.

It is, in every way, everything you want it to be. (You will want the sound up for this one). Nadia had a few words after dragging her shaking body from the ‘vette, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart Frank, for making this happen. “ She also added “He never told me what was going to happen “I learned the hard way what “drifting” meant”. After resting for a while, Nadia was back to her own self, laughing about the whole amazing experience, But swore” i don’t think i will do this again…” What a blast !!!!

Dog sees hidden camera , she deals with it in her own way
Poncho ,Brent’s rescue dog from Riviera Maya Mexico is quite the pooch. She is an extremely lovable pet to mention the least. Brent and his family were in Mexico some 11 years ago, when his young children at the time, stumbled across two little puppies abandoned at the side of a dirt path. Since it was Christmas time, and his children were away from their friends at a very festive time suffering it out in the sunny Riviera Maya, Brent of course allowed his kids to keep the puppies. After some paperwork and a veterinary checkup, the new additions to the family was happening. Poncho is believed to be a Basenji mix. A few reasons which Brent figures this are her traits. Basenji’s although are not a barking dog, they more so yodel, Poncho has the hair pattern but does bark. Poncho does have “cat like “ traits as do Basenji’s. She loves straddling the arm of the couch, and also lays across the back of the couch, like a cat. Poncho also can jump high, to make her way over a six foot fence, and climb, higher than Brent prefers. Poncho makes him work at keeping her in the yard safe. Years have passed, and one puppy is no longer with them, but Poncho has weathered many storms. She has turned out to be a great friend to the family, like many dogs become. Aside from Poncho’s kindness and somewhat great behaviour, she has a few funny quirks. She likes to take shoes when Brent heads out of the house, and generally seems to lie with them in her place of comfort, of course the family couch. In this video you will see another of Poncho’s funny ways. She does not like to be watched eating. She is a pretty smart pooch and very aware of her surroundings so here she deals with her discomfort. In a Poncho sort of way….very smart.

Chiweenie Succumbs to Gramma's Magical Touch
Meet Pippin, he is an adorable Chiweenie pup. Sarah his mom had gone away for the weekend so she left her pride and joy to spend the weekend with Gramma. Of course Sarah left a full list of instruction for her baby. The very extensive list includes ,of course, what and when he eats, how many times per day, and what treats he is allowed. In capital letters and followed by many exclamation marks was “ NO HUMAN FOOD….. NO MATTER WHAT “. Being the great gramma that Elsa is she followed these instructions to a T. Pippy loves his walks and loves to cuddle, but he also likes to bark, that must be the chihuahua in him. As far as designer dogs go, the Chiweenie is one of the cutest ones around. Long and small, this adorable hybrid (a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix) is picking up in popularity. And it’s no wonder; this breed is friendly and loving, making him the ideal lap dog. But after he’s done with cuddling, he’ll want to play… a lot. When he’s all tuckered out from playing, he’ll be content to sleep beside you on the couch just as Pippin does. Known to be a bit stubborn, the Chiweenie can be a challenge to train. Sarah has managed to teach Pippin a few tricks, or skills as she likes to put them. Pippy will sit, shake a paw, give you a high five, and also when asked to “show me your bum” he spins around and points his derriere directly at you….oh how cute. As you will see ,Pippin also loves his Gramma and is quite content lounging on the couch watching a tv show. Gramma definately has a magical touch, like most Grammas do. Even Pippin can not avoid the magical touch of Gramma.

Drone captures amazing color and beauty in acres of blooming daffodils
On a gorgeous April morning, Brent and Elsa woke up long before the roosters to venture out into the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada to capture some beautiful morning sights. The incredible sunrise over the Coastal Mountain range and acres and acres of amazing tulips as well as daffodils nearing full bloom. Tulips of the Valley takes place over a 3-5-week period, usually in April, sometimes into May. The first 2 weeks of the festival will be celebrating the beautiful new additions, over 10 varieties of Hyacinths and 17 different varieties of Specialty Daffodils. The last 3 weeks will be for celebrating the main act, 20 acres of tulips. Nearly an hours drive from Brent and Elsa’s home ,they arrived to the family owned farm hosting the festival. How did the family go from tulip-growing to tulip celebrating? Well, they couldn’t do it by themselves. What started out as a family passion, soon bloomed into a wonderful partnership with Onos Greenhouses Ltd., who own and grow the tulips on a 20-acre field. As you can imagine, this yields a bounty of bulbs, and at the end of the blooming season, after the guests have enjoyed their vibrant display, Onos Greenhouses collects the bulbs and then uses them in their greenhouse operation, to produce cut tulips that are sold throughout western Canada and the Northern United States. It’s with their help that this family run farm is able to bring the visitors “Tulips of the Valley”, Western Canada’s largest and most recognized Tulip Festival! Since then, this farm has been the Tulip Ambassador, bringing the lively, bright colours of the tulip to the Fraser Valley. People have been pouring in from as far away as South Asia and Europe as well as closer to home, from the U.S.A, Alberta and the Okanagan, just to get a glimpse of the mass fields of tulips. When the family first started cultivating these beauties, it was a pleasure enjoyed only by their family. After appreciating the tulip fields for years, they had to share the beauty with anyone who wished to see it. So, in 2006, they opened the fields to the public and have continued to do so ever since. Now in its twelfth year, the festival has grown from a couple hundred visitors per season, to nearly 30,000. Hopefully this gives you a glimpse of what Brent and Elsa had the joy to see, first hand on a very early Sunday morning.

Basenji Beef Tenderloin Challenge goes as Predicted
The Tenderloin Challenge. This is an altered version of the famous Egg Challenge that many on the internet are taking to brag about their retrievers ”soft mouth” . Egg Challenge or #EggChallenge refers to a social media game in which people place an egg in the mouth of their golden retrievers, hoping to prove how soft their dog’s pallet is by how carefully they handle the egg. Brent whom lives in Vancouver British Columbia ,was challenged by his friend Dave from Toronto Ontario to see if his dog Poncho was able to surpass the extreme skill of Dave’s great dane Briva. The Great Dane is a large German breed of domestic dog known for its giant size and is one of the tallest dog breeds. This being said, you can imagine the appetite Briva must have. Poncho on the other hand, along with being rescued from Mexico by Brent and his family, is believed to be a Basenji mix. Basenji’s are a type of hunting dog originating from Africa and are generally 20-24 pounds and 16 to 18 inches tall at the shoulder. Definately smaller than Briva’s approximate 30 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing in at 120 pounds. After some extensive training, Brent was ready to record this challenge. Once the beef was prepared and a few words of encouragement for Poncho, the challenge began. At the beginning Briva and Poncho appeared to be neck and neck, both handling the stress of the challenge quite well. But after 3 rounds it appeared Poncho had a “trick up her sleeve” that she planned to use to take a stronghold over the lead. Check out Dave’s Tenderloin Challenge video as well at https://rumble.com/v4meti-great-dane-beef-tenderloin-challenge-goes-predictably-wrong.html and compare. Let us know who you feel the winner is … Thank you for watching, enjoy.

Hang on Honey , This Thing is Fast
Brent and Elsa ,the rider and passenger you will hear in the video ,live near Vancouver British Columbia Canada and planned a weekend get away up to Whistler to enjoy some outdoor activities. Along with snow shoeing they took a snowmobile tour with Blackcomb Snowmobile . Whistler is a town north of Vancouver, British Columbia, that's home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Besides skiing and snowboarding, the area offers snowshoeing, tobogganing and ski jumping at the Olympic Park, a venue for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. The hub of Whistler is a compact, chalet-style pedestrian village at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Approximately a 2 hour drive from Vancouver, Whistler offers up many types of outdoor activities for both summer and winter and everything in between. Skiing and snowboarding are huge here and tourists gather from around the world. Summer brings out the hikers and mountain bikers. Blackcomb mountain, which is beside Whistler mountain, also has trails for hiking and biking and both mountain resorts basically share the village of Whistler to house tourists and locals throughout the year. The village is a very fun place to experience any time of year as there are numerous restaurants, pubs and shops to satisfy any of your desires. On the day Brent recorded this exciting footage of their snowmobile tour, as you can see it was a gorgeous day. After touring slowly along nicely groomed trails , seeing some small wildlife and the overall magnificence this areas mountains offer the group came to a small frozen lake. The guide brought everyone together and explained a few things. “This is where you can all let it all hang out” so to say”. “ go as fast as you like but be careful around the corners, make sure to slow down” . That being said, Brent was ready. He asked Elsa to hang on tight !! The rest is history, watch and enjoy. Listen closely for Elsa’s words of advice. She is so cute .

Amazing Tricky Italian Fountains prove to be Quenching
Marilyn from Vancouver British Columbia recently took a once in a lifetime trip to Italy with her daughter. While at home, as an elementary school teacher and mother of two, Marilyn and her family also welcomes homestay students from around the world. One of these past visitors is Marcello, who just happens to be from Milan, Italy. Marilyn and her daughter had the great opportunity to be welcomed into the home of Marcello for a portion of their trip, and to have him as their personal tour guide of this amazing city. One of the main interests throughout Milan are its many, 481 drinking fountains that are unique to Milan. They are a bit tricky if you are not aware of just how they work and that they are definately safe to use. Le vedovelle (The widow trees) are the typical and famous fountains of Milan, which owe their name to the incessant stream of water that flows, similar to a perennial cry of widow. Inhabitants of Milan also use to say: "let's drink at the bar of the green dragon" because the tap has the shape of a dragon's head.
The material that constitutes them is the cast iron of the typical green color and were designed in 1931. The first fountain is that of Piazza della Scala, which differs from the others in the fact of being in bronze. The quantity of water supplied by the fountains is negligible compared to the water flow distributed by the Milanese aqueduct; in fact, compared to an instantaneous average flow of about 7500 liters / second, the flow rate of the fountains is equal to 8 l / s. Many may think that the widow trees generate waste of water, but this is not the case. The continuous water flow of the widow is not only useful for quenching thirst, but also has the important function of keeping the water always in motion, preserving its freshness and good quality in correspondence with the blind end pipes, the so-called "dead heads". Furthermore, the interruption of the flow could lead to the stagnation of water and contribute to the formation of dangerous bacterial flora around the mouth of the "dragon" from which water flows. Even the flow out of the fountains is not dispersed unnecessarily; on the contrary, the water is discharged into the sewer system, reaches the purifiers of Milan, is disinfected and then used by the agricultural consortia for irrigation of the fields south of Milan. All of those public fountains in Italy aren’t just for decoration – the locals drink from them, and you can too. Rome has more than 2,500 fountains around the city (there are several apps for finding them, or you can use Google Maps) and Venice has 122. In Rome, the short, cylindrical fountains are called fontanelle – little fountains – or nasoni, as some think the spout looks like a nose. These fountains contain very clean, cold, safe, tasteless water. Contrary to how public drinking fountains are perceived in the U.S., Italian fountains contain some of the freshest water in the country. Rather than buy multiple water bottles, do as the locals do and bring your own or buy just one disposable bottle and refill it from these fountains. If you don’t have a water bottle handy but still want a drink, go ahead – on some fountains, you can plug the side spigot with your thumb and the water will come out of a top spigot.
