So, eliminating those five names from the seventy listed brings the number to sixty-five, but sixty-six is obtained by the addition of Dinah. 70 is a multiple of 10 = perfection, perfect completion and a multiple of 7 = completion. So the real message here is that this is an inspired number of souls. 70 is the entire family of Yakob who will go down to Egypt. That is one meaning here.
