Fire ants are several species of ants in the genus Solenopsis, which includes over 200 species. Solenopsis are stinging ants, and most of their common names reflect this, for example, ginger ants and tropical fire ants. Many of the names shared by this genus are often used interchangeably to refer to other species of ant, such as the term red ant, mostly because of their similar coloration despite not being in the genus Solenopsis. Both Myrmica rubra and Pogonomyrmex barbatus are common examples of non-Solenopsis ants being termed red ants.[2]

Parasitoid Wasp! 🦟 One Of The Most Dangerous Insects In The World
Parasitoid wasps are a large group of hymenopteran superfamilies, with all but the wood wasps (Orussoidea) being in the wasp-waisted Apocrita. As parasitoids, they lay their eggs on or in the bodies of other arthropods, sooner or later causing the death of these hosts. Different species specialise in hosts from different insect orders, most often Lepidoptera, though some select beetles, flies, or bugs; the spider wasps (Pompilidae) exclusively attack spiders.
Tamandua! 🐒 One Of The Cutest And Exotic Animals In The World
Tamandua is a genus of anteaters with two species: the southern tamandua (T. tetradactyla) and the northern tamandua (T. mexicana). They live in forests and grasslands, are semiarboreal, and possess partially prehensile tails. They mainly eat ants and termites, but they occasionally eat bees, beetles, and insect larvae. In captivity, they will eat fruits and meat. They have no teeth and depend on their powerful gizzards to break down their food.
The word Tamanduá is Tupi-Guaraní.[2]

Desert Locust! 🦟 One Of The Most Dangerous Insects In The World
The desert locust (Schistocerca gregaria) is a species of locust, a periodically swarming, short-horned grasshopper in the family Acrididae. They are found primarily in the deserts and dry areas of northern and eastern Africa, Arabia, and southwest Asia. During population surge years, they may extend north into parts of western Spain and southern Italy, south into Eastern Africa, and east in northern India. The desert locust shows periodic changes in its body form and can change in response to environmental conditions, over several generations, from a solitary, shorter-winged, highly fecund, non-migratory form to a gregarious, long-winged, and migratory phase in which they may travel long distances into new areas. In some years, they may thus form locust plagues, invading new areas, where they may consume all vegetation including crops, and at other times, they may live unnoticed in small numbers.

Slow Loris! 🦥 One Of The Cutest But Dangerous Animals In The World
Slow lorises are a group of several species of nocturnal strepsirrhine primates that make up the genus Nycticebus. Found in Southeast Asia and bordering areas, they range from Bangladesh and Northeast India in the west to the Sulu Archipelago in the Philippines in the east, and from Yunnan province in China in the north to the island of Java in the south. Although many previous classifications recognized as few as a single all-inclusive species, there are now at least eight that are considered valid: the Sunda slow loris (N. coucang), Bengal slow loris (N. bengalensis), Javan slow loris (N. javanicus), Philippine slow loris (N. menagensis), Bangka slow loris (N. bancanus), Bornean slow loris (N. borneanus), Kayan River slow loris (N. kayan) and Sumatran slow loris (N. hilleri). A ninth species, the pygmy slow loris (X. pygmaeus), was recently moved to the new genus Xanthonycticebus.[6] After the pygmy slow loris, the group's closest relatives are the slender lorises of southern India and Sri Lanka. Their next closest relatives are the African lorisids, the pottos, false pottos, and angwantibos. They are less closely related to the remaining lorisoids (the various types of galago), and more distantly to the lemurs of Madagascar. Their evolutionary history is uncertain since their fossil record is patchy and molecular clock studies have given inconsistent results.

Learn About English Mastiff! 🐶 One Of The Biggest Dog Breeds In The World
The English Mastiff, or simply the Mastiff, is a British dog breed of very large size. Likely descended from the ancient Alaunt and Pugnaces Britanniae, with a significant input from the Alpine Mastiff in the 19th century. Distinguished by its enormous size, massive head, short coat in a limited range of colours, and always displaying a black mask, the Mastiff is noted for its gentle and loving nature. The lineage of modern dogs can be traced back to the early 19th century, but the modern type was stabilised in the 1880s and refined since. Following a period of sharp decline, the Mastiff has increased its worldwide popularity. Throughout its history the Mastiff has contributed to the development of a number of dog breeds, some generally known as mastiff-type dogs or, confusingly, just as "mastiffs". It is the largest living canine, outweighing the wolf by up to 50 kg (110 lbs) on average.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel One Of The Laziest Dog Breeds In The World
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a toy dog breed from the United Kingdom. Blenheim (chestnut and white), tricolor (black/white/tan), black and tan, and ruby are the four recognized colors; the coat is smooth and silky. The average lifespan is between eight and twelve years.
When the Cavalier King Charles was interbred with flat-nosed breeds in the late seventeenth century, it changed dramatically. It had the same history as the smaller King Charles Spaniel until the 1920s. Breeders attempted to recreate what they thought was the original configuration - a dog resembling Charles II's spaniel from the English Civil War, when supporters of the king were referred to as Cavaliers.

Brown Bear One Of The Tallest Animals In The World
The brown bear (Ursus arctos) is a large bear found in Eurasia and North America. Brown bear populations in North America are known as grizzly bears, while the subspecies that lives in Alaska's Kodiak Islands is known as the Kodiak bear. It is one of the largest living terrestrial Carnivora members, rivaled in size only by its closest relative, the polar bear (Ursus maritimus), which is much less variable in size and slightly larger on average. Parts of Russia, Central Asia, the Himalayas, China, Canada, the United States, Hokkaido, Scandinavia, Finland, the Balkans, the Picos de Europa, and the Carpathian region are all part of the brown bear's range. Several states have designated the brown bear as a national and state animal.

Axolotl One Of The Cutest And Most Exotic Animals In The World
Ambystoma mexicanum (/aeksltl/; from Classical Nahuatl: xltl [aolot] (listen)), is a paedomorphic salamander related to the tiger salamander. Axolotls are unique among amphibians in that they mature without going through metamorphosis. Adults remain aquatic and gilled rather than moving to land. The species was discovered in several lakes beneath what is now Mexico City, including Lake Xochimilco and Lake Chalco. Following the conquest of the Aztec Empire, Spanish settlers drained these lakes, destroying much of the axolotl's natural habitat.

Irish Wolfhound One Of The Tallest Dog Breeds In The World
The Irish Wolfhound is a historic sighthound dog breed from Ireland that has inspired literature, poetry, and mythology due to its presence and size. It, like all sighthounds, was used to chase game at high speeds; it was also well-known as a guard dog, specializing in wolf protection and hunting.
Recent genetic research has classified the modern breed as the Sighthound United Kingdom Rural Clade (Fig. S2),[5] and it is used by coursing hunters who prize it for its ability to dispatch game caught by other, faster sighthounds.
The Irish Guards adopted the Irish Wolfhound as their regimental mascot in 1902.

Giant Schnauzer One Of The Biggest Dog Breeds In The World
The Giant Schnauzer is a dog breed that originated in Germany in the 17th century. It is the largest of the three Schnauzer breeds, the other two being the Standard Schnauzer and the Miniature Schnauzer. It was developed using a variety of breeds, including the black Great Dane, the Bouvier des Flandres, and the German Pinscher. Originally bred to help farmers by driving livestock to market and guarding the farmer's property, the breed eventually moved to the city, where it worked as a security guard for breweries, butcher shops, stockyards, and factories. Outside of Bavaria, it was unknown until it became popular as a military dog during World Wars I and II.

Hyena One Of The Cutest But Dangerous Animals In The World
Hyenas, also known as hyaenas (from the Ancient Greek v, haina), are feliform carnivorous mammals of the family Hyaenidae /handi/. It is the fifth-smallest family in the Carnivora and one of the smallest in the class Mammalia, with only four extant species (each in its own genus). Despite their low diversity, hyenas are distinct and essential components of the majority of African ecosystems.
Although phylogenetically closer to felines and viverrids, hyenas are behaviorally and morphologically similar to canids in several ways due to convergent evolution; both hyenas and canines are non-arboreal, cursorial hunters who catch prey with their teeth rather than their claws.

Moose One Of The Tallest Animals On The Planet
The moose (in North America) or elk (in Eurasia) (Alces alces) is a member of the New World deer subfamily and is the only species in the genus Alces. It is the largest and heaviest extant species in the deer family. Most adult male moose have distinctive broad, palmate ("open-hand shaped") antlers; most other members of the deer family have antlers with a dendritic ("twig-like") configuration. Moose typically inhabit boreal forests and temperate broadleaf and mixed forests of the Northern Hemisphere in temperate to subarctic climates. Hunting and other human activities have caused a reduction in the size of the moose's range over time. It has been reintroduced to some of its former habitats. Currently, most moose occur in Canada, Alaska, New England (with Maine having the most of the lower 48 states), New York State, Fennoscandia, the Baltic states, Poland, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
