4,500-year-old stone statuette found in Gaza
A stone statuette, over 4,500 years old depicting the face of an ancient goddess, was discovered in the southern Gaza Strip. Carved out of limestone and 22 centimeters long, the statuette from 2500 BC was found by a farmer in Khan Younis. In recent years, Israel and militant groups in Gaza had a series of devastating flare-ups in the conflict. However, the discovery of the statue is a reminder of how the strip - part of an important trade route for successive ancient civilizations - was originally a Canaanite settlement.

Given that everyone can now become an information provider on social media, even a soldier's tiniest act can be filmed by locals and made available online for later judgment. However, the availability of information, which serves as a double-edged sword, has also facilitated the spread of propaganda and disinformation about the war, says Song Xin, a former policy advisor at the European Parliament.
Furthermore, citizens on the Russian and Western sides, due to the distinction between the media that they usually access, may form opposing opinions about what is happening on the ground.
