Vevor Diesel Heater Real World Field Test And Review
We are growing tomatoes in mid December with the Vevor diesel heater in our greenhouse. Those of you who follow my channel know we can never grow tomatoes here. But with this heater we are growing tomatoes while it is snowing and freezing outside.
Code: VVMH5%OFF (5% off on all VEVOR products)
Link: https://s.vevor.com/bfQB1Q
All diesel heaters: https://s.vevor.com/bfQCDt

I really love this heater. I am not just saying this. I mean I really love this heater so much I plan to get two more of them. One for the garage and one for a backup for the house.
It burns about 1 gallon (or less) of diesel fuel per 8 hours. We run it during the cold nights to keep our plants growing.

Pure vegetable base soap - $5 per bar
I can make soy or other vegetable base
Mix of vegetable oil, olive oil and coconut oil - $6 per bar
Let me know if you want soy or other vegetable base
Higher grade mix of all three oils - $7 per bar
Has less vegetable base and more olive and coconut oils
Prices plus shipping. The more you buy, the more you save on shipping.
Each bar weighs roughly 3.8 to 4.2 oz

Charge Batteries Free While Powering A Load Its Basic Electronics
You can power a load with one set of batteries while the electrons leave the load and charge up a second set of batteries at the same time. The very same electrons that power the load will charge your batteries.

Free Energy Experiments With Battery Swapping Continued
It seems that you can run a circuit in such a way that you can charge a second set of batteries as one set is powering a load. Electrons are not used up in a circuit so the first set of batteries is discharging while powering a load. As the electrons leave the load, they can charge up a second set of batteries.
Then you can swap them around and keep going.

Experiments With The Tesla 4 Battery Switch Without Destroying Batteries
The experiments I am working on recently are loosely based on the Tesla 4 Battery Switch and patents from Carlos Benito from over 100 years ago.

I have mostly heard from the alternate energy community that the Tesla switch kills batteries. The reason for this is mostly because you should not charge and discharge batteries rapidly.
Most people are pulsing their batteries 100s of times per second with high speed swapping of the battery sets.
I am taking a different approach though which I have never seen done before. I am using the batteries until they reach a certain voltage and then swapping them around. I am using the potential difference between the two battery sets to run the load.
Stay tuned for more experiments....

Processing Loads Of Free Pine Firewood For The Homestead
I got about 10 or 20 face cord worth of pine logs free for the taking so I have been haling them home and processing them into firewood as fast as I can.
I have also been clearing up in front of the sawmill so I can get that going again. During the summer months I was in a hurry to haul home firewood so I was dumping it around the edges of the property. Now I am processing that and stacking it out of the way to dry.

Jasperlite Hill The Worlds Largest Gemstone
I took a trip to Jasper Hill in Ishpeming Michigan to see the Worlds largest gemstone. This is an entire mountain of Jasperlite which is an alternating layer of Jasper and Hematite, an iron ore.
Jasper is red in color and Hematite is dark gray and can be quite shiny. The combination is spectacular to see. The camera just cannot do it justice.
You can see that some people tried to pry off pieces with a rock hammer on top of the mountain. I was smart and went down the hill to harvest some free samples that had fallen off on their own. They are dirty so they will be easier to see once I clean them off later.

Found Some Beautiful Copper Ores And Possible Gold Vein
I spent a week camping in my truck and prospecting for ore, minerals, gemstones and gold. There are some nice ore and crystal specimens in the copper mines in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I went and got a bunch at the beginning of this trip.
Along the way to my next stop, I found a quartz vein sticking out of a mountain. There was some rust and pyrites in the quartz as well. So I grabbed a sample of some of the rocks that were loose at the base of the mountain. And I scraped some dirt and stones out of a couple crevices in the rock to pan out back home.

Homestead Updates Firewood Business And Wildfire Smoke
The air is gray from wildfire smoke and it is affecting many people around Michigan, myself included. But I keep working because I have to. Firewood orders are coming faster than I can fill them. And I have free tree cleanup jobs to finish asap.
I am currently processing a huge lot of trees that a tree service cut down for someone. I get the wood for free and it saves the customer on tree disposal fees. We both benefit. But this is green wood and no good for any time soon.
I have orders to fill so I actually bought 7 face cord of dry firewood. It is cut shorter than usual but I can make it work and fill orders. I can also sell firewood bundles from this. So it works out.
I also got this nice trailer where I got the firewood. It has a nice axle and tires on it so it can handle a face cord of wet firewood weight. It measures only 3.5 ft by 7 ft though so I would have to pack it tight to get that much wood in. But this will be awesome to get in and out of the woods on trails with my garden tractor while processing firewood.

Northern Michigan Gray Air From Wild Fires And Brief Update
I was planning to make this a longer and more detailed update video on the homestead but the smoke from wildfires in Canada is really making it hard to breathe.
The air is literally gray and thick with smoke. It has been like this on and off for many weeks now but today is the worst.
It has been affecting my health and my work.
But the main reason I have not been making videos for a while is that the firewood business is taking every minute of my time these days. I just do not have time to do anything else right now.
I have too many free tree cleanup jobs to do and then I have to fill customer orders. That is keeping me very busy.

Mega Scrap Metal Haul For Melting Casting And Forging
During the Memorial weekend I drove around to garage sales asking for free aluminum scrap. Here are the things I got just for the asking in most cases.
I did pay for some power tools, but at less than scrap price. Most of the things I got here were absolutely free for the asking.
I got a mess of copper motors and aluminum for melting and casting. There must be a couple or few hundred pounds of scrap here. I might break it all down into the separate metals and weigh them.
I plan to cast aluminum and copper to make things for sale. And I am going to be building a forge soon for blacksmithing.

Made Some Beautiful Sea Shell Aluminum Casting Paper Weights
I quickly melted down some aluminum in my Vevor furnace and made sea shell paper weights as gifts for my family members. I got a lot of free aluminum this weekend during the garage sales and wanted to experiment with casting sea shells.
I had no talcum powder so these are not as perfect as they can be. I used real sea shells in the casting sand and some rubber stamps I got at a garage sale.
The aluminum was some left over from a ladder I had cut and melted and also some scrap I got this weekend for free.
The shells turned out really nice. The stamps can be much better with powder to help separate them from the casting sand. I will try again soon.

Successful Aluminum Casting And Homestead Updates
I tried casting aluminum for a third time and finally - success!! I got a good pour and good castings. I made more of a summary this time. And I show you around the homestead to see what we have been up to recently.
I got a load of sawmill slaw wood to process into firewood, pickets for my fence and some for garden pickets for sale. Watch the video here:
https://youtu.be/eJmaH42H300
For aluminum casting I used Petrobond casting sand this time that I bought online. This is commercial and professional casting sand. This stuff worked. I got perfect castings. The stuff burns and smokes very bad though and a lot gets used up in the process. They sure do not show that stuff on the videos.
Around the homestead we have been cleaning up some more. I am moving wood piles and processing lumber and firewood. The girls follow along and clean up the tree bark. That all goes into the gardens for walk ways to keep the weeds down.
I have been working on the watch tower now and then as well. It is coming along slowly.
