Hughes Hickory Flavor BBQ Sauce (Sugar Free) Cream Cheese Filling: Allow cream cheese to soften. Add a liberal amount of the southwestern seasoning to the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of shredded colby jack cheese and 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and a table spoon of the BBQ sauce. 10/16/2021: On this episode of the Griddle Food Network, Nick copycats one of his favorite Meat Church recipes, the Armadillo Eggs. Nick was even able to use the #EasyKabobMaker to fill the jalepenos with seasoned cream cheese. Normally the armadillo eggs are smoked. Nick show's you how to cook'em up on the blackstone griddle. Easy Kabob Maker https://www.easykabob.com/collections/all/products/easykabob-maker Ingredients: - Jalapenos - 1 lb of bacon - 1 lb of ground sausage - 1 block of cream cheese - Southwest Chipolte Seasoning (Dash) - Hughes Sugar Free Original BBQ Sauce 1 hour before the cook, let cream cheese sit out and soften. Once softened, apply your choice of seasoning. Use a spatula and mix in the the seasoning with the cream cheese. Fill your jalapenos with the seasoned cream cheese. I chose to use my Easy Kabob Maker to fill my jalapenos. Once your jalapenos are filled cover them with ground sausage encapsulating the jalapeno. Cut 2 small pieces of bacon to be your ends and then wrap your egg in bacon. Place the armadillo eggs on baking rack that sits an at minimum 1/2 inch off the griddle and cover with a basting dome. Burners should be set to high heat. Let the armadillo eggs cook under cover for 12 minutes, then flip them and let them cook another 12 minutes. Once complete, turn burners to low and and baste the armadillo eggs in your choice of bbq sauce. Cover the armadillo eggs for an additional 10 minutes and let them carmelize. 09/16/2021: On this episode of the Griddle Food Network, Chef Round Eye shows you how to make seared ahi tuna steaks on the blackstone griddle. Sesame Soy Dipping Sauce 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar 1 teaspoon honey 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil 2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic 2 ahi tuna steaks also called yellowfin tuna 2 tablespoon olive oil kosher salt freshly ground black pepper sesame seeds to taste thinly sliced green onion to taste Make dipping sauce. In a medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey until honey dissolves. Whisk in sesame oil, ginger, and garlic until emulsified. Leave at room temperature or refrigerate if desired. Asian Cucumber Salad 4 cups of very thinly sliced seedless cucumbers 1/4 cup of finely sliced red onion 1/4 cup of fined diced red pepper 1/4 cup of rice wine vinegar 1 teaspoon of honey 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt Add VERY thinly sliced cucumber, sliced red onion, diced red pepper, and sesame seeds to a medium size bowl. Set aside. In a small bowl mix together rice wine vinegar, honey, toasted sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and sea salt . Add dressing to the cucumber bowl. Toss to mix everything. Serve immediately or cover and let sit in the refrigerator for an hour or two to let all the flavors meld. 08/04/2021: On this episode of the Griddle Food Network, we griddle up Cap'n Crunch Chicken on the Blackstone Griddle. Griddle cooking at its finest. Another great griddle recipe. This recipe's ingredients: - Chicken Tenders (Tenderize prior to placing on the griddle top) - Flour add 2 TBL spoons of Salt & Pepper / Optional 2 TBL spoons of Onion Powder - Egg wash (2 Eggs with 1/2 cup of milk whipped) | Egg count will vary on amount of chicken) - 1/2 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs - 3 Cups of Cap'n Crunch Cereal (Use Food Processor to chop) | Take a handful and crush so you have bigger pieces to mix in Cook your chicken to 150 degrees. Then pull them and dress them in flour, followed by an egg wash then place in the cap'n crunch. Have your griddle set to high heat and place some oil (your choice) on the griddle top and wait about 30 seconds then add your chicken and flash fry them from between 30 seconds to 1 minute. Depeding on the thickness of chicken you use, will determine how long to flash fry to finish the chicken and ensure the egg is cooked. 06/15/2021: On this episode of Griddle Food Network Nick aka Chef Round Eye griddles up a Mexican pizza on the 36'' Blackstone griddle culinary series. Check out this great Mexican Pizza recipe. Add this cook to the Blackstone Griddle Recipes. Grocery List: - Pizza Dough (This particular dough is roughly 15'' diameter) - 4 Jalapenos - 4 Chorizo Sausages - 8oz Bag of Mexican Cheese (Four Cheese Blend) - 8oz Sour Cream - 16oz Pico de Gallo - Cayenne Pepper - 1 Bottle of Ortega Taco Sauce - 1 Bag of Tostitos Organic Yellow Chips - 1 Bag of Tostitos Organic Purple/Blue Chips Mexican Pizza Marinara Recipe - 8oz Sour Cream - 16oz Pico de Gallo - 3 Tablespoons of Cayenne Pepper - 1/2 Cup of Taco Sauce Mix everything up and let it setup the night before (thickens up). What did I well and what I can learn from: Positive: The Mexican Marinara Sauce was excellent. Positive: Had the stone/griddle on one side heated up 30 minutes prior to have to stone over 500 degrees. Positive: The prep on the dough was excellent. Negative: I should have turned off the griddle right before starting to dress up the pizza and instead of 5 minutes. The crust came out well done. On this episode of the Griddle Food Network, Nick copycats one of his favorite Meat Church recipes, the Armadillo Eggs. Nick was even able to use the #EasyKabobMaker to fill the jalepenos with seasoned cream cheese. Normally the armadillo eggs are smoked. Nick show's you how to cook'em up on the blackstone griddle. Easy Kabob Maker https://www.easykabob.com/collections/all/products/easykabob-maker Ingredients: - Jalapenos - 1 lb of bacon - 1 lb of ground sausage - 1 block of cream cheese - Southwest Chipolte Seasoning (Dash) - Hughes Sugar Free Original BBQ Sauce 1 hour before the cook, let cream cheese sit out and soften. Once softened, apply your choice of seasoning. Use a spatula and mix in the the seasoning with the cream cheese. Fill your jalapenos with the seasoned cream cheese. I chose to use my Easy Kabob Maker to fill my jalapenos. Once your jalapenos are filled cover them with ground sausage encapsulating the jalapeno. Cut 2 small pieces of bacon to be your ends and then wrap your egg in bacon. Place the armadillo eggs on baking rack that sits an at minimum 1/2 inch off the griddle and cover with a basting dome. Burners should be set to high heat. Let the armadillo eggs cook under cover for 12 minutes, then flip them and let them cook another 12 minutes. Once complete, turn burners to low and and baste the armadillo eggs in your choice of bbq sauce. Cover the armadillo eggs for an additional 10 minutes and let them carmelize. 06/09/2021: On this episode of Griddle Food Network, Nick aka Chef Round Eye is griddle cooking philly cheesesteak sliders on the 36'' blackstone griddle culinary series. Another great recipe from the blackstone griddle recipes. Grocery List: - 1lb of shaved ribeye steak - 2 Green Bell Peppers - 1 Sweet Onion - 1 Pint of Baby Porta Bella Sliced Mushrooms - 3 Teaspoons of Minced Garlic - 3 Tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce - 1 Pack (10 Slices) of Provolone Cheese - 1 Pack of King Hawaiian Rolls - Mayonnaise - Quarter stick of butter - Salt & Pepper Sauté up your veggies getting them nice and softened. Once the veggies are sauté, add your shaved ribeye steak. Consider adding your salt and pepper to the steak prior to placing on the griddle top. As the meat begins to color add your minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce over the meat and let it simmer in. Once the meat has cooked, marry up the meat with the veggies. Toss the veggies and meat together and then move off to the side. Give the griddle a good scrape in the middle so you have a clean surface to place your Hawaiian rolls. Suggestion: Consider already having the rolls pre-cut with mayonnaise added to save time. Place the Hawaiian rolls mayonnaise side down and let the bread begin to toast. Brush melted butter on the top & bottom of the rolls while the mayonnaise sides are toasting. Keep your burners at medium heat and after about 3 - 4 minutes begin to check the bread to ensure you don’t burn the bread. Once you are satisfied with where your toasting is, turn off the burners and flip the bread. Add your bottom layer of provolone cheese (5 pieces will cover the bottom) then add your steak and veggies followed by your top layer of cheese (5 pieces will cover the top) place the top part of the rolls over the cheese. Add some water around the sliders to create steam and cover with a basting dome for 5 minutes. 05/29/2021: On this episode of Griddle Food Network we griddle snacks for this Memorial Day weekend. Nick is griddling up bacon mozzarella sticks & bacon wrapped pickles on the blackstone griddle. Another great recipe from the blackstone griddle recipes. These delicious snacks are great for KETO enthusiasts as well. Grocery List: - 2lbs of bacon - Mozzarella cheese sticks (freeze 24HRs in advance) - Pickle Spears - Toothpicks Bacon Wrapped Pickles 1st strain the pickles and pat them down with a paper towel. Wrap the horizontally from end to end. Then take your second piece of bacon and around sealing in the pickle. Use a toothpick at both ends to ensure the bacon stays sealed on both ends. Cook on high temp for a minimum of 10 minutes, from there cook longer if you want the inside piece of bacon to be crispier. Allow 10 minutes to cool after pulling off the griddle. Bacon Wrapped Cheese Sticks Pull the cheese sticks from the freezer and remove the wrappers. Wrap the horizontally from end to end. Then take your second piece of bacon and around sealing in the pickle. Use a toothpick at both ends to ensure the bacon stays sealed on both ends. Because the cheese stick is frozen you will just need to piece the bacon at different points to hold while griddling. Cook on high temp for a minimum of 10 minutes, from there cook longer if you want the inside piece of bacon to be crispier. Allow 10 minutes to cool after pulling off the griddle.
