Will lasers cure my paresthesia face numbness from dental tooth extraction
I have paresthesia or numbness in my face from a wisdom tooth extraction. There's not much they can do except wait to see what happens. In some cases they can do surgery with a nerve graft and some people take steroids but most of the time they just wait to see if it gets better.
I did some research and found some people claim to have success using laser treatment with their doctors. In this video, I go over an article or study that was published in the National Institute of Health discussing the treatment of another patient with paresthesia using lasers which seem to remove her numbness over a series of treatments.
I'm hoping the study will be a starting point for people who have this medical issue and that it's possible it could provide treatment or even a cure.
Please let me know what your experience is with the treatment of paresthesia if your doctor or dentist has used lasers and what information you have that might help the rest of us, we're all in this together. I'll let you know how my case progresses over time. Right now I am doing fine. The numbness is not a big thing.

Forgotten Stories of Biscayne Bay Miami
most people in Miami think everything happened after they arrived. There is a lot of history in South Florida if you're willing to take the time to look. It's everywhere.
A couple of weeks ago I I drove down to Miami and spent an afternoon making a few videos about places and stories from my past. This was one of them.

Everybody Loves Al Green
This is my second most favorite video I have made this year. If you like Al Green's music I think you will enjoy this video. If you don't like Al Greens music watch until the end and I think you may end up changing your mind.
I had a lot of fun making this video. I won't be making any money from it because it's not my music and I don't own the copyright.
But it's not about the money. It's how the video makes you feel.
It made me feel happy and young again. That's pretty rare.
In the first song, I was rough. I didn't do too well in the first song. I had not warmed up. But I think I did pretty good after that.
I always listen to music when I wash dishes in the evening and then I take a shower and listen to music. I was listening to Al Green in the evening getting ready to go to bed and it resonated with me to a very high level and the lyrics felt very relatable that evening. I attached my camera to the towel rack as an experiment just to see what would happen.
I decided to do a lip sync. I never did one before. At first, I felt very self-conscious and was worried I would embarrass myself.
But after I thought about how good the experience made me feel I didn't care and thought maybe it might help somebody if I shared.
I'm pretty happy with the results. I doubt I will be doing another lip-sync video but I'm happy I did this one.
I always appreciated and liked Al Green as a singer and songwriter but now I like him even more.

25 Years of Being My Own Boss
This week marks my 25th year working for myself. For the last 25 years, I have worked on eBay, tried my hand at importing and manufacturing,
wrote a couple of books, and spent 16 years making at least one YouTube video a week.
Prior to working for myself, I worked selling newspapers on the corner when I was 12, at a small plant nursery, a few weeks as a lawn spray man, a carpenter helper, short order cook,
house painter, fisherman, an ordinary seaman in the US merchant marines, and finally working at a large pharmaceutical company in chemistry manufacturing where I started as a production assistant and worked my way up to group leader of chemistry manufacturing.

The Fin Art Project Cool Miami Stuff Nobody Knows
There is fine art and fin art. If you are in Miami and near the 79th St. Boat ramp at the Pelican Harbor Marina
check out the Fin art installation to the east of the boat ramp. This was the first time I got a good look at it from land.
I always thought they represented shark fins when I looked at them out in the water.
Or airplane tails. I never knew they were actually parts of decommissioned United States Navy nuclear submarines. They are diving planes from submarines. Built in the 1960s.
I'm a big fan of recycled art; this is some of the best.

High Protein Pie Secrets....
One way to add a boatload of protein to your diet is with chickpea tofu pies. I have made lemon chickpea pies, chocolate chickpea pies, Florida cherry chickpea pies, banana cream chickpea pies, and pumpkin chickpea pies and I liked each one.
You can make your chickpea pie with a box of pudding or add eggs and cornstarch to thicken it up. All of my pies have been made with store-bought Graham cracker crust. It's important to mix the chickpeas thoroughly in the food processor to remove any graininess or parts of the chickpeas. Nobody wants parts of chickpeas in their pie.
You don't have to use the box shelf-stable tofu it's perfectly alright to use the refrigerated tofu. When I used the refrigerated tofu I only used about half the amount. I'm guessing 8 oz.
Experiment with your sweetener and add as much or as little sugar as you want.
When everything is mixed thoroughly I put it in a ceramic bowl in the microwave for two minutes at a time on high. After 8 minutes it's quite hot and thickened. Just pour it into the pie crust and then when it's cooled off put it in the refrigerator overnight. I like to add whipped cream or Greek vanilla yogurt. I'm going to make a lemon one again. The lemon was the first one I made and I used the recipe from the tofu manufacturer that used cornstarch and did not heat it up. I think my method will make a superior lemon pie.
Have fun with this recipe. Nobody has made these before as far as I can see. There isn't a wrong way to make it if you like it.

I used $249 eBike for 8 months & this happened...
After eight months of using my Jetson Bolt Ebike, I had to replace the throttle, add a second battery to increase my range and make minor repairs. Along with the jetson bolt throttle and battery, I purchased a bike rack a bike bag some bicycle lights folding bicycle pedals
I watched several videos on YouTube to learn how to add the throttle wiring to my eBay and have posted them in my Jetson Bolt playlist.
The wires that came with my throttle were not the same colors as the ones in the video other people have made on eBay showing how to add the throttle.
It took me several tries to get the wiring to where my throttle would work.

10 Reasons Not to Move to Florida
Over 1200 people move to Florida every day. I love Florida. My family has been here since 1919. However, I do wish I could go back in time and live in Florida years ago when it was like when my parents lived here and there were a lot fewer people. So many people living here have no idea what Florida used to look like. South Florida now looks like one giant shopping mall that stretches for four counties. I hate to think the rest of the state is ending up in the same condition.

Best DIY Low cost filmmaking book Cody Clarke's "Kill the Lion' book review
Cody Clarke's book is both a manual on low-budget filmmaking and a manifesto strongly and clearly encouraging readers to take up modern filmmaking tools in order to freely make their own art through film.
His book covers dozens of filmmaking topics every aspiring filmmaker needs to know about. Each chapter is full of helpful tips and insights from experience from years of making his own low-budget but well-made feature-length films.
There are many people making videos on social media but Cody's book inspires people to dream a little bigger and hone their skills and with just a little more effort to become filmmakers and learn to tell their stories in the style and fashion their stories deserve to be told.

Surprisingly Useful Deco Volt rechargeable spotlight review
https://amzn.to/46nfpAc Decovolt Rechargeable Spotlight, 2022 New Flashlight Led Super Bright 12000 High Lumens Handheld 10000mAh LED Flashlight, Portable Waterproof Large Searchlight for Outdoor Hunting Fishing Emergency
I purchased the Deco Volt rechargeable spotlight last year and it has been surprisingly useful and effective both at home and outdoors. I loaded out to my neighbors who lost their power and it was very handy for them while they were waiting for their electricity to come back on. You can use this as a flashlight or spotlight for a lantern which is strong enough to read by. But not by much. It's not a powerful lantern, but it is doable and would be welcome by anyone camping fishing or doing repairs in the dark.
The ad indicates that it is 12,000 lm, but the box and literature that came with the spotlight says it is only 10,000 lm. I'm not sure which one is right.

Tomcat Rat Trap Review: Does It Live Up to the Hype? Watch to Find Out!
Is the modern tomcat rat trap better than the old-fashioned wooden rat trap? I recently had a chance to use the tomcat rat trap and found it to be surprisingly effective and well-designed. The tomcat rat trap is a very small, lightweight, well-built trap that does a good job of catching rodents. I like the fact that it can be cleaned easily because it's plastic and that the trap can be adjusted to have a hair trigger easier than the old wooden rat traps.
Here are some additional rat-catching tips that I did not go over in the video.
Proper Placement: Place the trap where you've seen rat activity, typically along walls or in corners. Rats tend to follow the same paths.
Secure Bait Placement: Ensure that the bait is securely attached to the trap's bait holder. Peanut butter, bacon, or dried fruits often work well as bait.
Use Enough Bait: Apply enough bait to attract the rat, but avoid overloading the trap, which could allow the rat to steal the bait without triggering the trap.
Camouflage the Trap: Rats are wary creatures. Camouflage the trap with dust, dirt, or cardboard to make it appear less suspicious to them.
Set Multiple Traps: Increase your chances of success by setting multiple traps in areas with high rat activity. This can lead to a quicker reduction in the rat population.
Keep the Trap Clean: Rats have a strong sense of smell. Regularly clean the trap to remove any old bait or odors that might deter them.
Check Traps Regularly: Inspect your traps daily to see if you've caught any rats. Promptly remove and dispose of any caught rodents to prevent odor and disease.
Reposition Traps: If you're not having success in one location, don't hesitate to move the traps to different areas where rat activity is suspected.
Use Protective Gear: When handling traps or disposing of captured rats, wear gloves to protect yourself from potential disease transmission.
Be Patient: Rat trapping can require some patience. It may take time before rats become comfortable enough to approach the traps. Keep at it, and you'll likely see results.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific Tomcat rat trap model, as trap designs may vary. Additionally, consider humane options for dealing with captured rats, such as releasing them far from your property or contacting a pest control professional if you prefer not to harm them.

Best-Selling on Amazon: Giyo Bike Pump Review & Inflation Demo B
Giyo Bike Pump with Gauge https://amzn.to/3PmGywe
This small bicycle pump has worked very well for me on both my bicycles and my E bike. I found it to be easier to use than other pumps I have used in the past and the fact that it has a gauge that allows me to accurately fill my tire to the correct pressure has been an excellent feature.
The bicycle pump can be used on bicycle tires that use the Dunlop or presta or Schrader air valves. I hate to think about all of the years that I used a bicycle and did not have the correct pressure in the tires.

Hamilton Beach mini food processor review plus homemade redneck hummus
Today's video reviews the Hamilton Beach 3-cup food processor and shows you how to make my version of hummus which is really a quick vegetable sandwich spread or dip.
The Hamilton Beach mini food processor has worked out very well for me. So far I have made repeatedly pie filling sandwich breads, dips, coleslaw salads, and vegetable burgers.
I have made this sandwich bread or hummus before but it always took much longer. The food processor speeds up the preparation dramatically. A key ingredient for this sandwich spread is fresh parsley. But I did not have any. I have also added hard-boiled eggs in the past.

Hack Your Health Smarter Not Harder Dave Asprey Increase Energy Resilience Physical & Mental Health
There is a lot of information online about improving your physical and mental health. In this video, I go over Dave Asprey's book on working smarter, not harder. Dave has been involved with biohacking and self-improvement for decades and has a lot of interesting information and he backs up with studies in many cases. You won't agree with all of his information but I think you're bound to find at least a few nuggets on personal health development that you weren't aware of that can lead you to look for more information that could end up being very beneficial.
There are a couple of areas that I know a lot about that seemed to match up with Dave's take on them. Specifically rebounding and seafood. After reading his information on the subjects it pretty much agreed with the information I had.
Some of his dietary guidelines and recommendations are at odds with my information but now I'm going to look into them more. Also, some of his information and recommendations are rather expensive.

I Fixed Broken Car Door Handle with JB Weld Saved $200-$300
How to fix a broken car door handle. If your car door handle breaks off it will take a mechanic 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours of labor to replace your broken car handle with a new car handle. Most car door handles are made of very strong plastic that lasts for years, but sometimes they break off. If you are lucky you may be able to repair the handle inexpensively with JB Weld and a small piece of metal reinforcement.
When my car handle broke on my 1994 Toyota Corolla I was going to replace it myself with a new one. I saw several good videos on YouTube on how to replace a broken car door handle, but it required me to purchase a small tool to remove the panel from the interior side of the door. Also, there was a possibility I would not be able to get the lock to work properly after attempting to replace my handle.
I called my mechanic and made an appointment to replace my broken car door handle, but then later decided to give JB Weld a try to re-attach my car door handle.
I removed the exterior paint roughed up the surface of the plastic with some sandpaper and then wiped it down with alcohol. Then it was simply a matter of adding JB Weld to the broken parts of the handle and attaching a small piece of metal reinforcement.
Once the mental part had been secured with the epoxy I added more JB Weld to the part and then attached it to the car door.
JB Weld makes several different epoxies and I used one that was made specifically for plastics, but would also work on securing plastic to metal.
J-B Weld 50133 Plastic Bonder https://amzn.to/3qVkEI3
This epoxy has a 15-minute set time so it required me to hold the plastic parts together for 15 minutes securely and firmly. That was the most difficult part. Afterward, I let the repair alone for 24 hours before testing to see if it worked. I should mention that I also inserted some thin card stock between the handle and the door to keep any of the epoxy attaching from the handle to the door.
I also attached two small pieces of wooden Dowel to the door handle with hot glue which allowed me to hold the broken part of the door handle in a more secure and manageable way.
Afterward, I use some silicone spray to lubricate my lock and door mechanisms to keep it from sticking or jamming in the future.
It's important to wear gloves and eye protection when working with epoxy.
The JB Weld epoxy is actually quite brilliant as it comes in two different containers that are separate and they do not harden after being opened. You should be able to find a lot of uses for this product. If you need to attach metal I would recommend the original JB Weld which is even stronger than this particular epoxy but it has a much longer set time. They also make one JB Weld that has a set time of only six minutes.

How to ship an outboard motor using cardboard boxes. And a lot of glue.
I needed to ship a small outboard motor but couldn't find any information online about how to make a shipping container that would support it while being shipped. The motor I was shipping was a 3 hp Yamaha that weighed 39 1/2 pounds.
It would've been faster and sturdier to construct a wooden container but I was concerned about making the container too heavy as I had been given inaccurate information regarding the final weight of the box and thought I could not go over 50 pounds. There is a surcharge if I go over 50 pounds but I can go up to 70 pounds.
The cardboard box took a long time due to the need to have the glue to dry before assembling other parts.
I purchased two U-Haul sport utility boxes that are 48 inches tall and 15" x 15". I cut the boxes down the middle on one end and then used tight bond to wood glue to glue the bottoms together after I fit them to the right size. Then began the long process of gluing one part of the time. I glued one side and held the cardboard down with bricks and heavyweights and then it dried for about eight hours. I would do another side.
The motor was protected by cutting out the end of a small storage bin and sliding the shaft of the motor through allowing the heavy part of the motor which is the head of it down inside the storage bin.
The motor stuck out above the top of the storage bin so I cut out a hole for it and then encased it in foam one layer at a time. I covered the top with cardboard. Then I wrapped the motor and foam with plastic wrap.
I put a small plastic bucket over the propeller and tied it down securely. Having the motor encased in a small storage bin simplified the process of making the shipping container.
When the box was finished, I inserted the motor and used some foam to level it on the bottom. Then I folded the top down included and put some weights on it and let it dry. In the end, the box was very sturdy.
I put some labels on the box indicating which part was up to help in the shipment and then went to a pack and ship store where they helped me fill out a label and find the least expensive shipping method.
I went with UPS. I think UPS has a 70-pound limit for boxes. If the box is over 50 pounds. There is a surcharge.
This was a simple process but it took a long time due to the fact that the glue had to dry before it went to the next part. The part that took the longest was deciding on how to make it.
Initially, I was going to buy some inflatable beach balls and air mattresses. I saw it for sale at Walmart for just a dollar apiece. However, I think my final method was satisfactory.

Free Cash from Trash Found on the Side of the Road Episode Four
Every week on trash day I ride my bike in the neighborhood and identify treasures thrown out in the trash and left alongside of the road. Later I research the items and attempt to discover the current selling price.
This week I discovered a modern Italian travartine stone table base . I researched the item and found one new with the glass top selling for $4200.
The open tray of food lying on the ground next to it was free.

My Secret to Low-Cost Video Making & Best $100 Used Camera for Making YouTube Videos DJI Osmo Pocket
What is the best low-cost camera for making YouTube videos?
I have been buying video cameras every three or four years since the 1980s. To keep my cost low each time I need to buy another camera I almost always buy the best video camera that was made three or four years ago
When the time came this year for me to buy another camera I found the best camera for the lowest cost that had excellent stability. I was tempted to buy a better used phone that had stability, but after looking at the DJI Osmo pocket and the features it had I picked it instead.
There is no one single camera for all YouTube video creators. There are too many different types of videos and styles of videos and talent and budgets and experience etc. So let me be clear, I'm not saying that the DJI Osmo pocket is better than every other camera out there that you can buy used for a hundred dollars.
You may find a camera that has a feature that satisfies your need that is lacking with the DJI Osmo pocket with the camera. I just think overall the little Osmo is an excellent choice due to how many things it does very well.
Another advantage of buying a used camera like a DJ Osmo pocket is that there are now over four years of videos on YouTube providing helpful tips on how to make better videos to fix any problems. New cameras will lack the support you can get for the DJI Osmo pocket from so many sources.
If you really want to save money or keep your costs low when using my strategy of buying three and four-year-old camera technology you need to add a second step. That step is important. At some point in the future, you're going to need to buy another camera. When that time comes and you find and select the right camera that is the point at which you need to sell your old camera.
Because initially, you purchased your camera used several years old, and now it is even a few more years older, and the value is dropping a lot. Otherwise, you will end up with a closet full of cameras that you purchased over the last 40 years and never had the heart to sell because you like them so much.
Ask me how I know.
But yeah, buying the best technology in cameras or phones or any other technological device every three or four years instead of buying the newest is oftentimes a very smart economic decision. It's very easy to cut your costs by 75%.
If you get really lucky you can buy a camera that actually over time increases in price.

Best Small Anchors for Kayaks & Inflatables? MUSHROOM vs GRAPNEL vs BRUCE/CLAW
The best type of anchor for your kayak or small inflatable depends almost entirely on the holding ground your anchor will be expected to be used on and the wind and water forces that will be experienced.
Let me give you some examples, a lot of people use small mushroom anchors. If they rarely have any strong wind or current such as you would find on a small lake or pond a mushroom anchor might not be a bad idea.
A different type of anchor might snag on branches on the bottom of the pond where the mushroom anchor would rarely hang up. So in this case a mushroom anchor might be the perfect anchor for you.
On the other hand, if you have a lot of wind and current and that mushroom anchor was not able to dig down deep into mud and sand which would provide a lot of suction and power to keep the boat in place then a mushroom anchor would be a terrible choice. It almost always is. I think the primary use for a mushroom anchor is to moor a boat in mud and sand where the anchor has been able to sink deep in the mud, otherwise, it is not a great anchor.
I have become a big fan of the small Bruce anchors or claw type anchors. I also know people who have small Danforth folding anchors and they swear by them because of the holding ground that they commonly find when anchoring in their area.
Do some investigation and find out what is commonly used in your area and spend a few dollars extra and get a better anchor as it does not pay to buy the cheapest when it comes to anchors. Although there are some good cheap anchors.
In shallow water. I prefer to use a pole stuck in the mud and sand. Although not common, in certain areas, you can also bring small clamps to attach to metal and pipes or wood at bridges and abandoned docks or tree branches, etc. This will only work if there is no unsteady jerking from waves etc.
If you are in rocky areas the small grapnels will be in their element and work well.

Walmart Toast Is Da Bomb
A couple of months ago I bought a bag of Walmart toast. It was cheap.
Very convenient. Surprisingly useful. The best part was how it did not get mold or stale. It was already solid as a rock. Dry as a bone.
I make a lot of sandwich breads from chickpeas or can seafood and it was better than crackers. I also added cheese to it and put it in the microwave for 20 seconds and made wonderful snacks.
If I was cooking something in a pan and made gravy afterwards. The gravy was perfect to add over the toast.
I'm going to make some cream sauce and add some tuna and have cream tuna on toast.
I recommend these large bags of toast from Walmart. I think I paid two bucks for mine.
